I wasn't sure where to put this, so I put it here. I would like Thrawn to fill the power vacuum left by Snoke. I think Kylo is a good enough character to fill that void, but he may want to find a new General...and that's where Thrawn comes in. It's a pipe dream. But I'm having some fun with this. So, let's Rey goes off and finds force sensitive people? She hears rumors about Ahoska and Ezra still being alive and she wants help. That's my fantasy, it's just I don't want these characters to just be animated characters or like this is a separate universe at times. It's different with this era because the story is still evolving as opposed to The Clone Wars.

Ohh Thrawn would be spectacular in live-action! It's also clear as day Lars Mikkelsen has got both the chops and the looks (and voice ofc) for the role.

There is actually a rumor of Thrawn appearing in the SOLO movie. It's based on a toy leak. I'm not buying it though.

Really, I'd like for them all to get live action appearances.

But I think Hera's probably the most likely, though Thrawn is a close second.

If you're referring to the Chimera, it's just a codename for one of the Lego sets I believe. The description for the set has nothing to do with Thrawn or his Star Destroyer from what I can tell.

I'd say Hera probably has the best shot. Most likely a cameo or something like that, but I can definetly see her being in something. Thrawn is probably more iconic, but I'm not sure how they could work him into a movie. As much as I'd like to see Ahsoka Tano: A Star Wars Story, I'm afraid that there may be too much backstory and not enough familiarity to feature her and not confuse the mass audience.

I feel like Thrawn and Ahsoka have the largest fan desire, closely followed by Hera and Sabine. I suppose people have pushed for the former two for the longest, but I still think the issue is that these characters would largely be unknown to general audiences who have only seen the films. With that logic, Hera probably seems like the most likely person because you could easily fit her into the story whether you’re familiar with her or not.

I don’t understand what the purpose is of introducing so many new characters in animated series if they’re not going to be used in future material in some capacity. Even though I like that Rebels is kind of separate from the films, if they’re going to repeatedly bring back a character like Ahsoka, you might as well put her in a film already because she’s clearly not dying or going anywhere.

Which is the most likely? In my opinion Hera. However, I have this weird desire to see Kallus on the big screen. But here's the catch - let David Oyelowo play him. No explanation provided. :D

I hope we get an Ahsoka movie someday......but other than her, I won't be surprised if we see Chopper in the future.

I saw recently Filoni said they didn't pick the name Jacen lightly. What if IX has Kylo take on one of the Knights of Ren as his personal apprentice and he unmasks and he has green hair.

I usually don't care when a voice actor of one race plays characters of other races but the moment David Oyelowo was casted I would have made Kallus black just in case they ever wanted him in live action. Especially since he is a pretty high profile actor.

Not sure of the lifespan on her race, but I think Ahoka would be too old. The last we know if she were to appear it would mean they found Ezra very fast, or we see all three of Them. Hera's age would rule against her as well, unless its at the battle of Jakku or something.

For all the above reasons, I chose Jacen, perhaps he followed Kylo ouf of the academy. TLJ implied Kylo was not the only one.

Yes, but he did once state in an interview that he'd be "delighted" if it were pitched to him to have one of his characters come to life...and I think he'd be beside himself of it were her, hell I would be! :)

If one REALLY wanted to split hairs (which I don't) about it, Hera has already been in a live-action movie (R1) as she was called out on the radio, and we saw the Ghost in formation. We didn't actually "SEE" her...but she was there! :)

Edit: Well, I did find these little Notes about Hera, and I think we're going to somehow see her again, as there seems to be a secret looming about how she became a General. Wookiepedia states the following about her story, and if one follows note #91, it references an EW article which is also listed below....I think we're gonna see Hera:

My first pick is Ashoka. She IMO has more layers and is more of a complex character then my second pic, Thrawn. Thrawn is simply an ingenious bad a##.

Yeah, Ahsoka is 17 years older than Ezra (and Luke), and Hera is another 12 years older than Ahsoka....so 29 years older than Ezra. If Luke was 54 (?) when he died, then Hera was into her 80's at that time.

Huh. That may just be referring to the rest of the events of Rebels, since that article was in December 2016, but I'd love for a spinoff movie about it (as unlikely as that seems).
