    Damn GreyLo this is an awesome find. These comparisons seem way too close to be just coincidence. I can't help but wonder (theoretically of course) if Rey has learned to fight like Anakin simply by holding the lightsaber or because of a possible relation to him.

    In regards to the idea that she learned to fight like Anakin through simply holding the sabre, I had this twitter post from Pablo Hidalgo in mind:

    I wonder if Rey has an ability to learn force powers by touch and interaction kind of like Rogue does in X-Men.

    I also want to add, I know that Rey is her own person and can kick butt regardless of lineage but as we see in these parallels, the lightsaber style she uses is so close to Anakin's. It's hard (for me) to believe it's just coincidence but anyway who knows

    Yeah...specially in regards to the new info. Now im convinced she is a childe of the Force like Ani was. Maz kinda implies it with her observation: the lightsaber. It was Luke's. And HIS FATHER'S before him. And NOW...it calls to you. It's the Chosen One's lightsaber, really. More than it is a Skywalker's.
    This is not the thread to duscuss it tho. If you want we can continue in the Reylo thread. I post mainly there :)

    And yeah...paralels seem to be a thing in SW...they kinda do it...a lot.

    I think this video is only a part of the answer, as it gathers scenes that mirror from one episode to another.
    But there are a lot of other scenes, pictures, dialogues or motions that simply "parallel" without even "mirroring", as @Grand Master Galen Marek just posted above.
