    this sounds like its false but some other forum is talking about Damon Lindelof on a TFA production photo. who is that guy on the left ?

    well he worked on many film scripts like the new star trek films for example and marvel films too i think.

    Looks like alight meter to me, probably an assistant DP.

    There's no Lindelof anywhere near TFA. Between JJ, Kasdan, Simon Kinberg, Rian Johnson and the story group, they've got a stable full of writers already. This is just bored, uninformed speculation from forum users.

    I don't think that's him. He worked on Cowboys & Aliens and Prometheus. I hope he stays on the other side of the planet from Star Wars. His method of telling a story is confusing and has no flow to it. Not a fan of his at all, especially with the mess he made of the Alien prequel we were promised in Prometheus.

    Pretty Sure Lindleof is tied up with running The Leftovers right now. Which isn't a half bad show. Lindelof belongs on TV where his meandering style makes more sense. He's just not a fit for blockbuster films. But the guy has good ideas and can write good characters in long form. But executing plot is a weak point for him.
