    I believe that Darth Plagueis *is* in TFA, but since he's calling himself "Snoke," his true past and identity won't be revealed until a later film. Therefore, I don't think this bet can be settled until Episode 8 or 9.

    Result - indeterminate. There's not nearly enough about who Snoke is to say if he's D-Piddy. However, the character of Darth Plagueis is not mentioned otherwise.

    I suggest we extend this for a while. We could be playing the long con for this story. For now, however, we could give the people in favor of the topic some money for their troubles.
