    Hey everyone!

Just made an account. Been lurking around SW7N for quite some time now.

Okay. So there have been many shoot locations that have been leaked/followed/reported, etc. The majority of them being grassy locations, seeming kind of dull and boring at first.

But now that we have seen what appears to be some sort of hangar/military base for our heroes, the picture is starting to feel more realized. Never in any of the 6 previous films have there been more than 1 grass planet in the same movie. So, that leads me to make an obvious prediction (A prediction that may have already been made, but whatever)

Skellig Michael, Puzzlewood, Greenham. All the same planet.

I could be horribly wrong in my assumption but based on my novice knowledge of movie/art themes and locations, you never want to have more than one type of area. Things get mixed up. Especially in the GFFA.

Naboo and Endor are similar in appearance, yes. But they are not crammed into one movie together, leaving them to be separately realized as their own planets.

I think my prediction is a pretty safe one.

It can be left to others more imaginative than me to speculate what a possible plot could be, now knowing the shoot locations, the actors in them and the props being used from photos already seen.

A forest, a mountain/island and a hidden military base. Lot's of potential. Discuss?

I don't mean to be that guy but....are Naboo and Endor "similar" in your mind because they um...both have vegetation on them?

I ask because, they really look nothing alike other than they are the only two planets in the films that time has been spent on (other than Dagobah) that have plants growing on them...and they look nothing alike.

It's like saying "Well, I've been to the everglades, and it reminds me a lot of the red wood forests in northern California."

    I see your point, haha.

No, I only compared the two because they, apart from Yavin 4, are the only grassy/forested planets in the movies so far. And none of them appear together in the same movie.

While Naboo, Yavin and Endor look nothing alike aesthetically, culturally or what-have-you, they are the only planets of that climate (in the films).

It would be a little boring and drawn out to have 2-3 different green planets in the same movie. Just thought we could have fun speculating on the storyline, plot points, the scale of the place. Might as well :D

Trust me, just being a smartass.

I DO think though that we're getting a new grassy/forest planet in 7.

Then again...Naboo is the most diverse planet in the entire universe. It was grasslands, cities, water worlds, and forests.

Earth is the most diverse planet in the universe ;) ...sorry, being a smart-ass :D

I see your Point & i could agree on skellig michael & greenham, since they are open spaces with grass, but puzzlewood is an old forest that has a mgical & mystical vibe to it (almost like dagobah) it is dense & old, nothing like the open green spaces, so i can see that as being a planet different from the other "grassplanet" i could even see it as being Dagobah & the other one possibly Dantooine

Puzzlewood = Degobah or Dathomir, Abu Dabi = Tatooine or Lok, Commons = Dantooine or Corellia. That's my theory and im sticking with it :D

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this? But in a couple of the pics of the hangers it looks like there are two or three 2-D X-wing cut outs that may be finished in post. Flat fuselage without the wings.

I wonder what Geonosis would be like around this time period? Would any of these new sequels revisit it?

I have always wondered what Kamino looks like down in the oceans, -Do they have cities/buildings down at the oceanfloor as well?? -What kind of animal/plant life is it down there? -Is the whole planet a water planet? We only get to see the surface

I bet they aren't going to go to ANY planet exclusively mentioned in EU. I also bet there isn't going to be any scenes of Coruscant, maybe not for the whole trilogy - JJ Abrams understands that Star Wars isn't about scenes telling us the big picture of what is going on in the Galactic Empire, just subtle implications while all the action happens in constrained, relevent to the story locations<3

Personally, I hope they aren't going to go to Kessel, Corellia, Dantooine, Ord Mantell, Sullust, or any other place they mention in the movies but that we don't actually see, and that they make up new planets for the trilogy. Maybe Kessel though, it did get mentioned in TWO throwaway lines, not just one, so it must be important!

A bit of the area beneath the surface of the ocean is seen in The Clone Wars, but it's pretty barren - no underwater cities are to be found, unlike Mon Cala. I do believe that a couple of neat sea-creatures appear, though.

There's a rumor of a Mon Calamari headpiece being seen somewhere.

my favourite "drivingseat" on a spaceship in all of the movies (except the cockpit of the falcon) is the one Admiral Ackbar is sitting in in ROTJ, I would definitly not mind seeing that ship & drivinseat again with him in it saying something that could become just as iconic as: "it's a trap" :) & I wouldn't mind seeing him piloting an underwater ship on his homeplanet :)
