In know it will be awesome. I will have a hard time not buying everything. But these days I only collect Han Solo so i'm sure I will get an E7 Falcon and I think I might collect [Jaina] Solo -- Daisy Ridley I suspect and hope -- as I don't think Han is going to make it past Episode VII.

Yeah I only collect certain series of figures. Sadly I happen to think that will be the case as well, but at least if it does we will get to see old Han Solo one more time :)

Ouch, I have so much Star Wars stuff and it's spread across several houses across three provinces and two countries actually, lol. I've bought Star Wars stuff on and off since '83 or thereabouts. My first purchase, a Kenner Darth Vader action figure. I remember it as if it was yesterday, a cherished memory :)

Maybe I should gather up the stuff and give it all the photo shoot treatment one day.. I'm sure my mother would love it if I came over and emptied the basement...
"Why do you have twenty year old unopened chips bags down there, anyway?"
    "It's STAR WARS!"

Towels, chip bags, bottles, store display stands, the old Kenner action figures and vehicles, newer figures, books fiction and non, statuettes, posters, toothbrush holders, coffee mugs, Star Wars is everywhere in our house (which my first born, now eight, relishes and adds to with his growing Star Wars LEGO collection which I can't help but support ;p) ... the Force remains strong in our family :):)

    jeffwill,
I think the prototype Fett was released Aug. 31st. However, there was a pre-order that started sometime in july.

Check out the new Star Wars Black Series 6″ Imperial Shadow Squadron Set coming in Nov. exclusively to Target stores.

I don't know about you, but I got to have it!! (yoda)

I think because they are still deciding what is going to be cannon and what isn't. It is like the lego Revan figure that was released after they said all the cannon was being looked at. I mean the first black series figures had Mara Jade. I think there might be more things added then most people think from the old cannon, but only time will tell

Some great collections being posted here. I most get all my star wars items gathered up and post a pic of them here. Being the youngest boy in a family of 7 i got handed the star wars collection to look after. My brothers were buying items since ANH was released I still have the AT AT that our father bought us and still remember buying my 1st figure (kenner boba fett). Great to see so many keen collectors. Haven't bought anything for a while, but my kids are now getting into star wars and i can feel the bug tempting me.

Here are some photos of vehicles/ships from my collection. All in this post are 3.75" Hasbro, with the exception of Luke's "toy", which is a Micro Machine.

    Here are a few more-

First pic is my Titanium Series vehicles and a Revell Falcon kit on the left.

The next two are work in progress pics of an old AMT Echo Base model/diorama.
I had this kit as a kid, lots of nostalgia.

The basic cleanup and assembly is done. The next steps will be to accurize and
detail all the ships, and then it's time to fire up the airbrush and start painting.

As many of you may remember, back around 2006-07 Hasbro came out with a short-lived line of small figures and a couple of vehicles and ground equipment pieces called Battle Packs Unleashed. I really liked these. They were nicely done scale models that worked out to be approximately 1/30 scale. The best thing about the line, is that many of the figure sets were Hoth themed (my favorite OT battlefield).

Here are some of my BPU pieces using my backyard as a stand-in for Hoth-

Here's a few more pics from my collection. The AT-AT's are Titanium series, and Micro Machines.
The next two are Hoth Battlepacks Unleashed. The Single Snowtrooper is a 3.75" Black Series
figure, and the Sandtroopers are from the Legacy Collection.

Here is a pic of my "shrine" with around 20 Darth Vaders in various forms (piggy banks, candy & Pez dispensers, artfx statues, a watch with the helmet as the case, an EFX helmet, and even a Lego Vader keychain in there somewhere) among other things.

Sometimes I need to take a break from the more complex and involved models I build, and just put together something simple.

I was at Wal-Mart the other day, and they had stacks of Revell Star Wars Easykits. I ended up snagging a few. Easykits are pre-painted snap together models that have excellent detail, and are quite affordable. If you ever want to dabble in modeling without the complexity and work involved in larger kits, these kits are a nice alternative.

One of the kits is a TIE Interceptor. It was $12.99 and it took me around 2 hours to assemble. The model is around 4.5" long, and I built it straight from the box without doing any of my usual extra detailing or paint work. The cockpit is really nicely done, and it even comes with a pilot figure. All in all, I'm really pleased with the result-
