    Do you think Poe will make it through the entire ST? Or will he die in 8. I'm curious because of Issac 's rising star power.

    No, it's just that only three main, good guy characters die in episodes I through VI. Obi Wan, Qui Gon and Padme. So assuming, from the teaser trailer, that he is a major character and on the 'goodies' side then chances are he'll survive the ST.

    Of course, if he turns out to be a baddie in disguise then he'll almost certainly kick the bucket. :)

    Agreed, in fact I think the PT would have been better if they introduced a villain in film 1 and built up his character through the three movies. Introducing a new villain in every movie wasn't really the best way to tell a story, imo.

    I agree a villain to get a free survival pass for the trilogy would make sense but then to the audience they will expect a draw at the end of every confrontation, in order for a new baddie to appear in every movie it would have to be motivated by revenge for personally knowing the previous villains & making it their mission to avenge of the fallen.

    I hope they both survive but fates can change over the course of the movie, I feel the rebel pilots tend to die more often than those on the ground.
