I remember that, plus they did include Revan in the new The Old Republic MMO expansion, Shadows of Revan.

Just googled it, seems it was released as an exclusive figure given away by Lego in May if you spent more than $75 online. Doubt it's related but it intrigues me nonetheless

 

This really bums me out as I am literally certain that this concept for the sword was taken from fan art circling the net a few years ago. Couple this with the Darth Revan knock off mask.... I dunno first thing that's really given me pause.

Viral do you know anything more about this character? Is it possible this is the big baddy from the concept arts final form? If so and this is the "ancient fear" is his a resurrected Revan?

 

Ok, i'll put it this way, either is legitimate or its not. If its legitimate its ripping off kotor, i have a problem with that and the sword looks goofy, pun intended.

 

Let's just hope the saber doesn't make the cut. I would love a technical explanation about how that hilt is supposed to work. Well at least I have two Darth Revan Action figures still in the package from the fans choice set that came out a good while back! Those suckers already go for like $75.

 

If it is indeed in the film, I just hope they do change the lightsaber.
Those lightsaber horns made me cringe.

 

I can't get my head around the saber hilt....All I can think is that it would look cool in the dark, almost like a cross if it was held close to the chest.

 

That lightsaber is not and will not be in Star Wars. I can confirm because I HAVE SEEN STAR WARS.

I think it's awesome. If it is Luke, a broad-sword would suit his fighting style great. Think about his last fight with Vader, but with a green version of this sword. It would totally work. And also, I watched LOTR Two Towers last night and a character that fights like Aragorn would be a lot of fun to see in a Star Wars movie

Is it just me who thinks it be cool,even if a little far fetched if this mask lover was Ezra from rebels? I mean, he collects masks, is force sensitive and if trained wrong could easily be swayed by the dark side.... saying that Ezra would be in his 60's by the time ep7 takes place in the timeline. And it would also kill anything further than two series of Rebles before a huge spoiler of Ezra's fate if true. Totally just debunked my own theory!

I liked the idea of a He-Man concept blade MSW mentioned. That would look similar to Luke's lightsaber in the original star wars poster.

 

I thought it look 'shopped because of all the JPG artifacts everywhere. Between the watermarking and how many times this image has been re-encoded makes it look not on the up-and-up.

But I did remember (or rather, I took notes and archived them) back on September 21, a user at the JCF boards did describe this saber as belonging to Adam Driver's character.
