    It will probably connect some dots between the stories, but I seriously doubt that this game will fill any major gaps that TFA won't cover. If that were the case, everyone who doesn't have a device to download the app on, and doesn't hear about this story, would have confusion going into TFA. My guess is that it's just an app that's going to be released around the time of TFA because so much hype for Star Wars will be brewing, and Disney can make a hefty profit by releasing it. Since it is considered cannon, it could reveal the existence of certain people, places or things that are still around after ROTJ and therefore could give away hints for TFA. Or it could be just as significant to the new film(s) as Rebels and The Clone Wars... Who knows? Either way, I'm still hyped about this game. Hopefully it will reveal some good info on what's to come!

    When I read about Riley from Burnin Konn, my mind immediately jumped to the name Kylo Ren. It's probably a snowball's chance on Mustafar, but who knows? The names kinda sound similar--possible mother?

    Ok. So while Bespin is on lockdown, somehow he obtains Anakins saber, then takes it for whatever reason to Jakku where he is ambushed by the Rebels, crashes there and is stranded like the rumor goes. Bespin saber to Jakku that easy?

    Hmmm, a while ago there was a leak about the First Order being sort of a cult to Darth Vader. Kylo thought of himself as Darth Vader and several high ranking troops dressed as Darth Vader. This game does seem to show troops dressed like Darth Vader. I'm not sure if that lends any validity to those original rumors or if the person saw the game concept art or if it was a lucky guess, but food for thought.
