Random ideas I want in the movie:

The opening sequence is Han, Lando, Lobot (prior to getting his head-thingy) and some redshirts pull of a heist where the redshirts die and the other three get off free. Han is laughing and cherry and finally asks Lando whop they robbed and he says Jabba the Hutt which makes Han get angry. He yells about how stupid it is to steal from him and whatnot. Eventually they go to Mos Eisley where Greedo (or some other Jabba bounty Hunter) tells them they will answer to Jabba. Han turns and sees a fat stocky Irishman who Han begins to address (sarcastically) as "highness" and "mighty" and other adjectives like that. Lando laughs and asks if Han knows what a Hutt looks like, then jabba slivers in laughing that they had the balls to rob him, they apologize and basically agree to do some jobs for Jabba as payment, this leads to the main heist of the film. The intent of this is to call back to the original Jabba scene that Lucas filmed for Star Wars when they couldn't get the puppet to look right.

Throughout the film Han mentions how much he loves the Falcon and Lando constantly brags about it, after all is set and done the crew are all celebrating and playing cards when a drunk Lando makes the proclamation "the winner of the next game can have any ship in his dock" the game begins with a montage showing everyone else folding and leaving the game. We get to just Han and Lando and Han cheats to win, Lando concedes and asks him which ship he wants, this leads to Han bolting right to the back of the dock area right to the Falcon which Lando forgot was parked there. Lando begins fumbling his words trying to come up with an excuse but Lobot reminds him that a bet is a bet. The movie ends with Han dan Chewie taking off and Han looking around the ship. Han gets to the captain's quarters and opens the closet which shows a dozen of the same wardrobe (like Steh Brundle in the Fly), the white shirt/black vest and blue pants, Han reapers now wearing the iconic costume for he only time in the movie. Use this to explain why lando is wearing Han's clothes at the end of Empire.

If it could work naturally and not seem forced like Ponda Baba and Evazan in R1, I would like to see Temuera Morrison (or Daniel Logan) reprise Boba Fett in a small role.

I also hope they keep it a secret and have Maz Kanata in it.

Although I believe we will get how Han acquired the Falcon and a bounty on his head, the Kessell Run, and how he got his start in smuggling, but the ultimate theme will be how he became a self-interested scoundrel, albeit with a heart of gold.

I expect Han to experience a great deal of loss in this movie, which explains his self-interest and not wanting to show his emotions to strangers or attachment to others. Perhaps Emelia Clarke plays a love interest Han loses, plenty of room for Han's mentor to be lost, and there were rumors that Alden Ehrenreich and Aaron Edgarton were doing screen testing together (Han's brother perhaps?), if so, maybe that could be an additional loss? Maybe both Han and younger brother join the Imperial academy on Correlia and younger brother dies, thus, turning Han to his life of smuggling? If this is the case, I would expect the movie to open with Han and brother racing space ships, showing how close they are and joining the academy.

Yet, somehow events unfold to where Han saves Chewie, which is likely not to be in Han's self-interest when he makes the decision but shows his sense of doing the right thing.

We also need to see what happened between Han and Lando as Han believes Lando has reason to be upset with him when they visit Cloud City in TESB.

I also like the idea of Han losing a younger brother because it would really explain Han and Luke's relationship as Han in many ways acts like an older brother to Luke.

That would be interesting, if unlikely...

LIttle bit of info I've learnt.

    POSSIBLE SPOILERS

Mother Promixa is an alien, she's quite ugly and has many tentacles.
She has "Children" I believe she might be the owner of some sort of Orphanage, at one point if I remember correctly she orders the children to beat Han with sticks. I am not sure when in the timeline this is, its quite possible Han Solo was one of her "Children" or an orphan.
