    Are they the original versions or are they the re-released versions? I already own the re-releases on blu ray, but if the original versions are now available digitally then I'm definitely getting them! ;)

    the will be the HD special edition versions of the films. still no luck on the original yet. but rumors keep surfacing that they will be released within the coming years.

    Have patience, my friends. Sometimes good things come even when one doesn't expect them. Why, for a few years fans of Farscape were lamenting the lack of any blu-ray release and I had given up any hope. Then one day it seemed like it was out on blu-ray with almost no announcement or anything, much to my enjoyment.


    So miracles do happen. Especially when those miracles will make Disney money. I already have the blu-ray version of the OT, but without hesitation I'd go head and buy the OT again on blu-ray if I get the originals with it.

    Positivity is the key. I remember browsing Farscape forums regarding a blu-ray release, with the entire mood being "we'll never get it in anything other than DVD, sad faces all around"... and then like a month later my brother texted me an image of the Farscape blu-ray collection on sale in Best Buy. I was floored.

    So... fingers crossed. I don't want to have just my old VHS copies to fall back on.

    funny you mention the VHS, I was at Goodwill (chain of thrift store in the US) and I saw all 3 movies on the shelf never played. they were in great condition....and heres the kicker....they were released before 1993. no special edition crap on it. :D not bad for $3.

    The original releases would be considered Legends now.

    Embrace the future and its many added scenes and effects.

    After all, I know you'll all be clamoring for the remastered PT that is inevitably coming.
