    I answered a few people last night about Poe being born two yrs b4 the Battle of Endor. They thought he was an "Endor baby" even after they read Shattered Empire. I was polite, even after they were rude to me. :)

    Great post JediChase. I would like to ask about the Thrawn novel and how his character has been treated as I haven't read the book yet. How similar is his story from the one created by Timothy Zahn? Are there familiar elements?

    The new novel IS written by Timothy Zahn so, yes. :)

    Naturally, this being the novel set about 10-12 years earlier than the Legends trilogy, there are differences to fit the timeline and the new canon. But, the entire first chapter or two are basically retold Mist Encounter. Thrawn is every bit a genius tactician, but I feel he is more complex. Zahn even gave him a flaw or two.

    I won't say more as I don't want to spoil it. I hope that helped. :)

    Yes, he is probably about two years old (wookieepedia says he was born in 2ABY, Endor was in 4ABY) and he was apparently with his grandfather immediately after Endor.
