So is Rey still super powerful now that Kylo is gone since they were a dyad? Are they still a dyad?
So Finn DID hear the screams on Hosnian Prime and not the Cantina like people have argued?
So is Rey still undefeated in LS combat? It looked like she was exhausted and Kylo wasn't but he got distracted and got stabbed. Phasma got distracted and knocked down and it was argued that Finn defeated her, so... did Rey defeat Kylo again?
    Is the Force Balanced Now?
Are ALL the Sith destroyed now (since Palpatine said he was all the Sith) right before Rey destroyed him?
Palpatine knows what happens when he keeps firing Sith lightning and it's reflected back by a LS based on his conflict with Mace, why does he keep firing the Sith Lightning when Rey pushes it back?
Who exactly were the KoR and who formed them? They didn't appear to be FS (i.e. former students of Luke who left with Kylo)
Why would Palpatine "create" Snoke disfigured and injured?

Schrodinger's dyad, I guess. Seems like it was only significant to that one specific plot convenience, so probably not.
In my opinion, neither won that fight. Kylo wasn’t just distracted, he dropped his weapon altogether. He stopped fighting. That’s where it ended in my book.
Lor San Tekka started this trilogy off by stating there can’t be balance without the Jedi. Rey is basically the Jedi Dalai Lama at this point. So that box is checked at least.
We had every reason to think all the Sith were dead at the end of ROTJ. Since we have no idea how Palps managed his reappearing act, I don’t see why he couldn’t just do it again. The ‘Extra Super Final Order’, coming soon!!
In this game of roshambo, metaphor beats logic. “A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack.” Sidious was attacking. Rey was defending. His attack was fueled by hatred - a self-destructive motivator that literally causes him to destroy himself. In the context of that exchange, him turning off that power would be equivalent to him turning off his hate. He can’t. He’s responding to resistance with ever increasing anger, not recognizing the clear damage he’s doing to himself (not exactly subtle stuff). Logically, of course he should knock that crap off. But that confrontation isn’t about logic. It’s about the symbolic nature of darkness and light. He's consumed by his own hatred.
I’m guessing that aesthetic wasn’t intentional. I’m genuinely curious to see what technobabbly nonsense the creative team comes up with to rationalize this wonky story bit.

I can recall a few scenes in films before TROS that could be interpreted as cues for some of these things. (They satisfy me anyway!)
If you want to explore some ancillary material for more detail here's some clues where to look...

    Palpatine lives

So if Rey’s parents were actually super terrific people that gave her up for her own good, and not the cretinous piles of garbage that TLJ said, then why leave her in the care of someone like Unkar Plutt? Why not . . . well, virtually anyone else?

Kinda seemed like they didn't have many choices with that Jedi killer dude on their tail. At least she was more valuable/useful to Plutt alive than dead. And their enemies would not necessarily assume that Rey's parents would leave her in the care of a slave/junk trader.

Obviously, Rey's parents were forced to chose the least worst of the bad options they had available.

    Question.
Why can Rey instantly heal bloody wounds (and so can BabyYoda, in The Mandalorian), while Anakin "the most powerful Jedi ever" still had to rely on the bacta tank 20 years after Mustafar's events, as seen in Rogue One ?

i really only have one question: what happened to the blaster Ben Solo brought to Exegol?

he has it in his hand running in, loses it briefly when he jumps onto the chain.
he has it again running down the hallway, when he does the Han Solo shot, but then he's lost it again when confronting the KoR.

    what's up with that?

    Screen Shot 2020-01-06 at 7.58.36 AM.png

also: do we have any confirmation that the blaster is Lando's? i keep seeing this, but it seems like speculation?

Ha ha ha, yes, "obviously" :D

Another question: what happened to Kylo's mask? It's been a bit and I'm getting fuzzy. I know it was a big deal he bothered to have it welded back together. I honestly don't remember what happened with it.

if i remember correctly, the last moment when Kylo was wearing his mask was inside his TIE, pursuing Rey over Pasaana, juste before she jumps and cuts its wing (scene seen in the trailer).
if i remember correctly, after the crash Kylo emerges without his mask.
and if i remember correctly, we do not see the mask anymore....

Wait, you are going to bring back Palpatine- essentially undoing ROTJ- and not bother to explain it in at least a little detail?

Why didn't Leia force skype Ben as Han a long time ago? Could have saved this entire trilogy from happening and we'd all be better for it- much less the galaxy.

Why was Lando able to rally all those people in say a few hours but Leia couldn't in several years??

Poe was drug dealer? I thought he was in the New Republic and raised around a force tree. Remember when certain folks around here thought all of the books and comics were official cannon and there was some master plan? LOL LOL

Why did Ben struggle so much with the KOR? Why didn't he just force push them all?

Why did he rebuild his mask? I know to sell toys, but has anyone come up with answer to make themselves feel better?

If Palp has been manipulating Ben by pretending to be Vader, why didn't he just keep doing that? And why didn't we get to see it? (answer: China and Disney's stock price)

Why didn't Luke's ghost ever confront Ben? (answer: China and Disney's stock price)

Really? Not even a glimpse of ghost Anakin? (answer: China and well, you get the idea)

If Palp could clone this whole time, why didn't he clone Anakin? And then take over HIS body?

Why didn't Rey just lightning Palp back?

Why did Luke take the time to carefully hide Leia's saber on Ach-To when he was done with the Jedi, etc?

Wasn't Zori's world destroyed? She refused to leave with Poe. She just happened to leave before it was destroyed?

How did Ben Solo get off Endor's moon?

Why did Hux go from baby Hitler on the Starkiller in TFA to a bumbling idiot who just hates Kylo Ren in like a year?

    Why does JJ hate R2?

Lets see this garbage ass trilogy takes place what, 30 years after the OT. Rey is 20, which means she was born 10 years or so after ROTJ. Lets say her pops is 30 even, though he looked younger. That means Palp was gettin it on right around the time the Empire started, right? Or shortly after? Yeesh. Guess he found a gold digger. Even then, that relationship is less creepy than Reylo.

So I assume Rey's pops (or mom I guess, they never said did they?) was also force sensitive? Why did Palp ever let him/her out of his sight? Why didn't he suck the life force out of his kid? Or clone his kid? Or train his kid?

Hell, why didn't he have a bunch of kids and turn them? Why mess around with Luke, etc?

Why didn't Palp just suck the life force out of Luke back on the Deathstar?

I know its already been said but...the dagger that ended up being pointless...points to the crashed Deathstar from the exact point that Rey is standing?

Again, why didn't Leia force skype her son a long time ago??? Pretend to be Han or just be herself. lol its like they just wanted to hurry up and get this trilogy over with.

Why didn't the "master droid" mechanic or whatever have a way to save 3PO's memory prior to the dump? They did it anyway later with R2.

Why was Poe "light speed skipping" at all? Can the FO still track through hyperspace? If so, why is the Resistance still around at all? And why did the last skip work when the others didn't?

I thought the point of TLJ is Luke's sacrifice would inspire the galaxy. No one heard about it or....?

Why in the world would Palpatine send out a message? He has been scheming for 30+ years, and he sends out a warning email? Word?

So the emperor actually won the OT. He survived. Han ended up a deadbeat dad. Leia ended up a not very good rebel leader (should have called Lando a long time ago) and not a very smart Jedi mother. Luke ended up a coward. The new Republic lasted 30 years tops before being completely wiped out. Lando (I guess?) ended up a drifter on a desert planet. And the last Skywalker ended up becoming evil and helping bring about a lot of destruction, only to die to save Palp's granddaughter. Our heroes from the OT are idiots, apparently.

The end of the Skywalker saga concluded with...wait for it...a force duel between two Palpatines. Did they really think that was the way to end the "Skywalker" saga?

Wait, didn't Rey go back for the dagger because she felt it would be important? (lol) We never saw it again, did we?

I honestly have more too. Look, the OT wasn't perfect by any means. And a lot of people like to say it to feel better about the ST.

But it was NOTHING like the ST. Honestly, the prequels made more sense- though the dialogue and action was worse.

But that's not a nearly as big of an issue as the fact that none of the three movies in the trilogy fit together. TLJ ignored many aspects of TFA, then ROS ignored many aspects of TLJ.

    From this article:

    https://www.superherohype.com/movie...s-her-star-wars-characters-weapon-makes-sense

"Ackie went on to explain that Jannah is ambidextrous and that the bow is the perfect weapon for her.

“When you find out more about Jannah’s history and where she comes from, it makes a lot of sense,” Ackie added. “That’s all I can say, is the bow makes sense.”

Did anyone see anything in the movie that fits this?

I'm guessing that this is referring to something left on the cutting room floor. They should put caution tape around the cutting room at Disney, probably very dangerous with a spaghetti tangle of film several feet high from TROS.

You mean after using it to find the MacGuffin hidden in Palpie's evil Deathstar closet? I don't remember that.

I think we may be remembering things out of order. I think this is correct:

Rey going to get the dagger on Kimjii or whatever it's called, started on Pasana.
Chewie had the dagger with him when he was captured on Pasana.
C-3PO had the inscription from the dagger in his memory.
Poe says someone on Kimjii can get the inscription out of C-3PO's noggin.
They go to Kimjii and Rey senses that Chewie is alive and on the Star Destroyer above them.
They go up to the Star Destroyer to get Chewie.
They free Chewie and retrieve the dagger.
They go to Kef Bir to location Red Eyed Threepio gave them. (Red Eyed Threepio could make a great band name, along with Kylo and the Rens)
Rey uses dagger to find location of wayfinder (don't get me started on this)

So I think she goes back for the dagger before ever using it, which.....ugh.......makes sense. So strange to say that.

Ha ha ha. It’s OK to acknowledge that the entirety of the movie isn’t nonsensical.

I think TROS has the key ingredients of a really good movie in there. It just needed to bake in the oven a while longer. Wound up undercooked and doughy, but still edible if you don’t mind looking past the sloppy presentation . . . . . . crap, now I want cookies.

Well, he looses it when he jumped onto the chains and probably recovered it when He arrives on the ground.

I don't remember what happened later but I think the blaster mysteriously disappeared. Maybe some scene was cut during the editing.

It had the key ingredients for two movies shoved into one batch and out came a weird mess. Sure you can eat it, but you have to risk the tummy ache after.
