The Force Awakens is a great Star Wars film and I cannot wait for the next episode. Star Wars is on of my favorite escapes from reality. At 34 I can still feel like I was 8 years old watching these films. Every episode released thus far has the same tangible magic which whisks me away to the Star Wars galaxy. It's a foreign concept for me when people try to infuse real world views into an otherwise fantasy universe. The Force Awakens is not a perfect film, nor were any of its six predecessors, but it's a great Star Wars film worthy of those that came before it and as long as it is that, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Yoda "Wars don't make one great" (couldn't resist, sorry).

    But seriously, "greatest movie ever"?

IMHO to be great any kind of movie has to boldly go somewhere where no previous one went and there are many examples in film history that were bold in the context of their time (like ANH). TFA is essentially very derivative, which is already obvious from borrowing various plot elements, visuals and scenes from its predecessors. This usually doesn't make a film "greatest movie ever".
