    What do you think? Is this Rae? She was described as the sector command staff. I think it would be a great move to see her more in Rebels. I love her character in the Aftermath trilogy. IMG_1477.JPG

    Don't know why but I always picture Sloane as Viola Davis - though with a British accent lol.

    (especially after reading about her character in the Aftermath trilogy)

    Viola Davis' portrayal of Amanda Waller was a great audition for Grand Admiral Sloane.

    Slightly off topic, but considering how poorly both Brom Titus and Brunson have performed thus far I don't like seeing them as the sector command staff. Clearly its a budgetary issue and they decided to keep reusing the models to save cost.

    Funny, I thought that Thandie Newton's Maeve Millay was a great audition for Rae Sloane.

    I think it's been rumored (or heavily speculated, I'm not sure) that the movie will show how Han saved Chewie and how he beat Lando in the game that won him the Millennium Falcon, although it will cover new stuff and not necessarily demystify the character. If so, then Sloane appearing would suit the story well, as she could serve as an antagonist for the Empire-based portion of the movie (presuming the rest of it concerns Han in the criminal underworld, like most of us imagine it will).

    When Thandie Newton was cast for the upcoming Han Solo project, Sloane was the first name I had in mind but she might be a little bit too old for the timeframe the movie is supposed to be at (she'd be around 40 by the time of the Battle of Yavin, so she'd be around 30 for the Han Solo movie). But hey, if she ends up being Sloane no problem with me lol.
