I was amazed by The Force Awakens concept art so I decided to recreate the Tie Fighter keyframe of John Boyega crashing down into Jakku. The Tie Fighter was purchased on Turbo Squid I didn't have enough time to model my own before the final was due but I modeled everything else, the destruction was challenging. the wings were difficult and didn't have enough detail on the original model so I modeled the metal wire then later bent it to match the silhouette on the original concept. I'm still not finished though I want to re composite it and do my own simulations instead of using stock footage. but here's my progress from start to finish! I wish I finished it in time for the Art Awakens contest.
