Mortis connection to the owl. The colors WERE a match.

 

My biggest question coming out of this is who that hologram was of at the end. Based purely on their last encounter, I have my doubts that it would be Kenobi contacting Ezra...hmm.

But anyways, we finally get the Mortis connection/s and we finally have the Emperor taking an active role in the show.

Honestly, I think this trailer does a great job in leaving a lot of doors open as to how the show will end. I really can’t wait to see how it ties up some loose ends (and if it will leave any open).

Will Kanan die?
Will Ezra die?
Is Ashoka going to return, in some capacity?
Will Ezra turn?
Is Palpatine seeking Mortis?

I WANT ANSWERS FILONI. Please!

You know the good guys have gone undercover a lot when I'm fairly certain the 'stormtrooper' is Ezra.

 

I thought it was Palpatine. Maybe it's Vader's butler

 

Really cool trailer, didn't expect Sidious. Nice that Kanan got a haircut.

 

Happy to see that Kanan and Hera have at least one more encounter!

 

Oh man. I'm excited for the last Rebels episodes. So much shown but I think they have alot more held back. I think the Emperor in the trailer brings the anticipation to the fore front but at the end of the trailer he is a hologram which seems to me its a somewhat set up. I dont think the Emperor will show any force power since he is the strongest one. I like how Kanan cut his hair, I think he is embracing Caleb Dume more. There was alot of Kanan in the trailer which means to me he might not be dying. too much scenes to where it can only be the first 2 episodes. Saying there isnt anything wrong for him dying but its all speculations we all envision. Not so much Sabine, maybe cause shes had her moment and it looks like Zeb will lead in one of the episodes.

I feel like episode 3-4 maybe the second to last episode will be Ezra story arc and i think the scene with the emperor will be one of those. Or it can be misleading towards the end kinda like TLJ trailer. we get a shot of both and maybe Ezra goes up against someone else. I would like to see Vader and Ahsoka again. maybe Yoda and I wanted Kanan to meet Yoda or OB1 in the final episodes. I just wanted Kanan to journey on his own and find more meaning to the force before meeting up with the crew at the final finale.

IN all it was a good trailer and i cant wait til Feb. 19. May the force be with you...

Trailer looks good. I hope that our heroes get a good conclusion. We know Hera lives. And I guess we know Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka have to die. I hope Zebb and Sabine die too. Mostly because I just don't think those characters fit in the SW fiction very well. =)

 

I think Zeb and Sabine can just fade away in the SW realm. Just like them saying that is/or can be Rex in the ROTJ. Just like Ahsoka leaving the order she just goes off on her own story. Its a good trailer tho.

Pretty much confirms Sith Alchemy. Literally the only way for Ezra to stand a chance against Palpatine as it all takes place on the spiritual plane, where inner will and strength prevails. Not to mention the fact that the Son, Daughter, and Father lived in another dimension, so it would make sense for their temple to as well. The Loth Wolfs travelling through "force doors" pretty much implies this as well.

 

My first thought seeing the hologram was ahsoka. That’s how she looked when she was fulcrum.

 

The encounter I hope they have, can't be shown on screen. In a new Dawn, Kanan seemed like a bit of a Lothario. Rebels kinda made it seem like they weren't together at the start of the show. What do you think?

The fact that they are bringing some aspect of Mortis back is very intriguing. Is Palpatine really confronting Ezra or is this some sith magic / an illusion? I can't wait to see how everything ends. At least since they knew this was the last season, it should all come to a natural close. If they leave any loose threads we may have these things come back in a new animates series in the future. I honestly do not think Ezra will die but he does need to disappear, at least for now. Sabine will survive and we know Chopper and Hera make it to ROTJ. Kanan will likely sacrifice himself somehow, and Zeb who knows. Zeb could easily just leave and go find the place where his people went 2 seasons ago.

 

Oh dear.

This is awesome. I'm really looking forward to watch the rest of the episodes.

I want Rex to survive just to meet Luke. I want someone to tell Luke more about his father from The Clone Wars times.

 

OK I'll admit I haven't watched any SW Rebels.....but I'll also admit this trailer looks great. I will give it a go in February!!!
