When Kanan was a Jedi youngling his real name was Caleb Dune so Ahsoka wouldn't know him as Kanan Jarrus, or his call name Specter 1.

Without training Ezra sensed Kanan. The Inquisitor could sense Kanan and Ezra, Ahsoka should have sensed Kanan if she is coming in close enough contact with the Ghost and its crew.

Not saying she wouldn't sense them. I'm saying she wouldn't recognize him. We don't know what their history togther was or if they even knew eachother.

In the EU force users could create a force bubble around themselves to protect against the force powers of others. To resist force push and pull. Everybody seems affected by force powers of each other in Rebels and Clone wars. Wonder why?

Because they didn't use that EU concept.

She knows they are rebels so I'm sure she would investigate two force sensitive people.

they have to have some version of the concept or you would just steal the light saber from your opponents hand. Game over.

Really enjoyed the episode and liked how everything came together with the creatures. I like Kanan and Ezra's relationship more and more as the show progresses. It feels fresh and Ezra doesn't just feel like a Luke copycat. Could we get an Luke moment with Ezra finding his parents, but being too late? It would be cool if Ezra has to choose between his parents and the ghost crew to become a Jedi. Definitely think that Ezra getting his lightsaber will be the finale.

If Lando is going to appear in the show, I think it makes sense having only six episodes left that he will be Fulcrum. I feel like Fulcrum has to be a little bit more iconic, someone who has been in the films like Lando or Bail, maybe even Leia.

Hi guys. So...new member and all, but right off the bat, just watched Gathering Forces and I thought it was pretty damn good. However, one detail has stuck out to me and is driving me a bit nuts, and I wanted to know if anyone else caught it, or if I totally misunderstood the moment in question.

So, we get a bit where Inquisitor plants a tracker on the Ghost, right? The heroes, when told this by Zeebo, act skeptical that a tracker could work while they are in hyperspace.

    .....umm.

This has happened before in canon Star Wars. The two big examples are in AOTC when Obi-Wan tosses a tracker on Slave I and it allows him to follow Jango to Geonosis, and in ANH when Vader has a tracker on the Falcon lead the Death Star to Yavin IV. And I'm sure other instances happened in The Clone Wars. So....am I missing something, or is this a really huge writing gaffe that makes the Ghost crew sound like dummies?

I like how this show uses the force. Makes me even more disappointed with the prequels. How is it this show can show me more about the dark side than the prequels. Pisses me off.

It sounds like the tracker was some kind of new tech that could defeat the counter measures aboard the Ghost. It!s seems the Ghost can beat most standard forms of tracking and has some form of clocking device.

Even the Inquisitor commented on how remarkable the Ghost is.

The Ghost does not have a cloacking device, but the Ghost does have a jammer which will never indicate the Ghost twice as the same ship on the sensors of an other ship...

We can debate what they call it but in Spark of Rebellion when they go back to rescue Ezra they dock aboard the star destroyer and the officer says I don't know how but they docked without alerting our sensors. Call it stealth or clock but they got close enough to a star destroyer to dock without being detected.

I got the impression with this tracker that it could send location information while still in hyperspace, as opposed to having to wait to send location information after getting out of hyperspace. With the others, there was no indication either way whether they were tracking during hyperspace travel or after, but the incident with the Falcon was also after this incident with the Ghost in the overall timeline.

The XX-23 Imperial Astro-Tracker was developed by Sienar Systems to track ships through hyperspace routes to destination.
It was able to send the information while in hyperspace.

I believe the prototype appears in the novel Tarkin, although this was planted into the fuel cell, but the novel takes place ten years prior to Rebels.
