I couldn't ever see Vader dueling with the rebels crew. The show creators were pretty up front that art of the reason for the inquisitors to exist is because Vader would just stomp any jedi surviving the purge. I could see Fulcrum dueling saving ezra from the inquisitor.

I would love to see Asohka take on the Inquisitor! She would kick his ass!

As for her meeting Vader, I've mentioned she's a big enough character to have her own series, in any medium. When she meets him, it won't be on Rebels, but on her own platform. At least it should be.

Ashoka: Look at what you've become, Vader
Vader: My old Padawan, it is a shame you have come
Ashoka: The Jedi order may have let me down, but in the end, I have come back
Vader: Then you will die with the rest of them
Ashoka: I will make sure there are people who will stand against you
    Vader: Hrrrgh! (swipes at her)

Maybe Vader is just, the guy that makes sure there will always be someone to stand against the evil guy. And ironically Ashoka shows that part of Anakin, is fierce enough to defy a Dark Lord powerful enough to destroy him.

Ha, just making that up totally made stuff about Vader click for me.
His spunk and spine, is the "good in him".
I guess Sheev, robbed him of that, and made him spineless.

I've been thinking more todat about what exactly the Force technique te Inquisitor uses during Kanan's torcher.

    1) Was is it one one poster mentioned, an attempt to Force choke him? One which Kanan was resisting?

    2) If a Force user can use their power to crush someone's windpipe, why couldn't they apply this method elsewhere on a person? Perhaps putting pressure on the brain or other internal organs?

    3) Jedi favor using mind tricks. Vader mentioned in the first comic that this is not the Sith way. A Jedi uses it to subtly, yet firmly send suggestions to another's mind. Maybe the Sith use a similar approach, but instead of a suggestion, it's an aggressive take on it. More like ripping into their minds?

Just curious if the rest of you have any thoughts?

Dominate mind is what I think it was, which strikes me as tough to do on a jedi.
But I think he was trying to put pressure on him to "cave".

So maybe "cave mind" if I was to make up a way to describe it

I see. To be honest, I'm not too familiar with the game. One thing I have gathered is that the Force powers are a divisive point among SW fans. Some love them, some think a few of them are a bit much. Even though, it's not canon anymore ... the Storygroup has said they will use the old EU to mine for ideas. Is this power similar to one of the options I described above?

Its best to not think too much about these sort of things. I'd say you are right though. Why couldn't they easily pinch a blood vessel to cause an aneurysm or push on the inside of the eye to cause blindness?

I agree about not thinking too much about these things. While I don't want to over-analyze, it is interesting to me to break down Force powers used. I'm curious to see how they depict Force Powers going forward. The mix of the differences in depiction of both trilogies and potential new ones they bring to the table.

This explanation might be based on legends material but the Sith draw strength from not only their own pain but also causing others pain. Based on that I would guess that causing an aneurysm may kill them too quickly, and causing blindness in that manner may only cause a short burst of pain. It may also be easier, as you would only have to put pressure in a general are as opposed to attempting to locate and put pressure on a small blood vessel.

Here's something that's close to what it may be. If you're talking about when the Inquisitor was trying to extract info from Kanan?

How cool would it be if he was killed off and Ashoka trained Ezra?

I think what should happen is that Kanan and Ezra duel the Inquisitor, and then she shows up to shank his pasty-white ass. Then she tutors the both of them. Kanan dies later on in some heroic way or something.
