What if there is a shrine on Mustafar to represent the theoretical "birth place" of Darth Vader. When Vader dies in episode VI, RotJ, the shrine acts as a tomb and an illusion of the Dark Lord could live there, this could set up beautifully a certain trial of Luke or Finn in Episode VII; plus bringing Vader back would be a good decision financially for Disney and I feel like it could be done well. This is only speculation, so feel free to completely dismiss it. I was just thinking the other day and I thought this could be cool. What do you think?

So it would just be an illusion? Seems pointless and waters down Darth Vader and his redemption.

I think you could make the argument that Anakin actually died in the Jedi temple as he killed the younglings, and the burning man on the side of the lava flow was already Darth Vader.

It's the season finale. If there is a "part two" to it, it will air on the night that the episode does. Everything I've heard says that this will be a standard 22-minute episode, though.

Ahsoka/Vader and Kanan/Ezra/Inquisitor fights going on simultaneously. Ventress comes in to save the day. :) One can dream.

Seeing the almost universal love for Ahsoka from Clone Wars and Rebels fans (which I share) gives me hope for Ezra. In the beginning, Ahsoka's character wasn't accepted very well by the fan base. She came off as annoying and naive...sound familiar? But as the show went on, she was developed into a great character. It says something that you hear more people hoping for her return than staple characters like Obi-Wan or Han Solo. I think she is Fulcrum and I can't wait for the reveal!

There has been a lot of talk in this forum about force powers and such after the Kanan torture scene. This got me thinking...what kind of force powers will Luke possess in TFA? Maybe he will be more like an Obi-Wan character from ANH and rarely give us a glimpse of his power. Maybe he will be the Dr. Manhattan of force users able to explode people with his mind (how's that for a pressure point?), teleport himself at will, and witness every moment in his life simultaneously as he has a non-linear view of time itself. Or maybe somewhere in between gentle giant and force god. :) I don't know which type I would prefer more as all three scenarios would be cool in their own right. Come on December!

Disney has withheld the episode from its XD app in order for the airing of the show tonight on TV to be the first viewing of the finale. You probably won't see any links until tomorrow.

Will it be available on the XD app at airing time, or not until after the initial airing?

The Watch Disney XD app has a "watch live tv" option. I assume you'll be able to watch it via the app at 9:00pm (us est) tonight.

Rewatching this episode in prep for the finale. Something caught my attention. Fulcrum's comment about Ezra being hope sounds like it is in reference to the hope that he gave people with the transmission they got out. Maybe Fulcrum doesn't realize that Ezra is a padawan.

Edit: ok, I was wrong. Fulcrum knows about Ezra's training. But still, the transmission may be why Fulcrum felt that Ezra was more important.
