Well, you're both wrong. The next episode is 10. Droids in Distress is Episode 1. Spark of Rebellion is a stand alone movie. That's the numbering according to StarWars.com

...Did you just ignore the part of "if you count the movie as an episode"?

In any case, the episode will be labeled 113, so the guy writing that up probably made a mistake.

You said if you count Spark of Rebellion for 2 episodes.... or 1 episode ...
But actually Spark of Rebellion is not counted at all. It's Episode 0. ;)
And there is really no "if". There is only one right order.

The gaps are sickening. The show is already short, and if you get a kiddie episode it feels like a week off and a wasted episode. I might have to wait to the end of the season and binge.

I agree, I am not a fan of the gaps. Maybe I just got spoiled watching TCW on netflix, but it seems like the gaps really break up the pacing on this show, and make it much harder to follow it closely.

Well, I think it was a balanced episode, in that the stuff I liked and the stuff I didn't like balanced out to equal a "meh". Like you said, pretty light-hearted, pretty kids-oriented.

The Lothal thing is getting old, well it already was. I have to think there's something to Lothal that makes it special... something to revealed later. I mean, Imperial interest... Jedi temple... proto-rebel operating base... then again, maybe it's just because it's a kid's show and less confusing for them...

My largest gripe might just be the line Lando had at the end. Yes, it was good to know he knew they "cheated" him, and that's why he didn't pay but... isn't he talking to the pig? Weird.

    Insert another sad face.

Look on the bright side! the next two episodes will be airing a week from each other. And then another gap. I'm pretty sure the last two episodes of Season One will be a two-parter, so there probably won't be a gap between those two episodes. There might be a gap between episodes 14 and 15, though.

Does anyone else think that they decided to make "spark of rebellion" not the first episode just for the benefit of selling it separate from the season 1 boxset?

Come on Filoni...too much fan service? I think not...

Yep...I was aggravated cause I wanted to get the show on Google Play. They had the Spark of Rebellion listed twice... one for $1.99, the other for $5.99. Both were HD, and I assumed that the more expensive price was for the whole season. I was like...Awesome! What a deal! Then I realized I paid that price for the movie and had to buy the season separate. Thanks Disney and Google Play. Oh, well.

Speaking of Boba Fett, does anyone think he'll show up in these last few episodes? I do recall merchandise of Boba Fett's helmet and his ship set to release with the Rebels label on it. The same thing occurred with Darth Vader, and he made a cameo in the short film.

I dont think we can assume that just because a toy has the rebels logo on it that there will be any tie in to rebels. I bought my daughter a $8 toy Anakin lightsaber that had the Rebels logo on it. They also had Obi-Wan and Vader Rebels branded lightsabers that I may or may not have bought for myself . None of these lightsabers have actually been seen in the show yet, and Anakin's in particular would really be a stretch, as it is sitting in a chest inside Obi-Wan's hut at the time rebels takes place.

Question: did these actually say Star Wars Rebels on the top of the packaging, or did they just have the Stormtrooper helmet with the Starbird with a "watch Star Wars Rebels on Disney XD" sticker? Because if they're the latter, then that's just the standard 2014 packaging, not just for the content tied to Rebels.

These lightsabers actually said "Star War Rebels" on the top of the package. Here is a pic of the obi-wan packaging I found online.

I'm really hoping we will see Fett on the show soon...I think he will eventually make an appearance. I mean, Clone Wars had multiple story arcs including the character so to continue his story showing his ascent to legendary bounty hunter would be awesome. I think it's very likely that Filoni will use every opportunity he can to bring some closure to his unfinished business from Clone Wars. I think bringing Fett to the show is also money in the bank for Disney, especially when it comes to classic fan appeal and toy sales. Plus, Dee Bradley Baker (the voice of the clones in CW) has already done voiceover work for Rebels (Ezra's father) so I don't think it would be hard to convince him to take on Boba Fett as well. If (more likely when) Fett comes to Rebels, I hope we see him in all his grey/green mandalorian glory this time. The only thing that I think will hinder his appearance on the show I think would be his inclusion in upcoming spin-off films, but I don't know why he couldn't be in both.

I wonder why the picture is from ROTS though instead of a Rebels Ben Kenobi picture...Same type thing for the Slave I ship packaging...it says Star Wars Rebels on the packaging, but the discription of the ship on the package is a scenario from TESB, not a Rebels plot thread. On the bottom right corner of the box it actually says its from Episode V, not Rebels. I don't think we can trust the packaging to tell us if a character will be in the show.
