SPOILER Rebels Review S02 Premiere: "The Siege Of Lothal"

I think sabine should have died when she was shot in the face by Vader. I know its a kids show but people died in TCW and that was a kids show. War and especially a war being fought with guerrilla tactics is an ugly thing. Sabine's death would have ramped up the stakes and the drama. Alternatively Sabine could have lived but been scarred on her face. That too would have gotten the point across. Since Sabine did live they really need to do more with her character, Give her an arc. I like the show but so far it does not measure up to the latter half of TCW.


Funny story I was watching this episode with a casual star wars fan (she watched the movies about a half dozen times throughout her life) and she could not remember Darth Vader's true identity. I explained to her that Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker and she was like who is Anakin Skywalker. I do not see how someone forgets something like that but then again I am a obsessive star wars fan.

 

How does that even happen unless you sleep through all of the films?
