I do not like the form of graphics in which "Rebels" are created. Everything is angular and the characters look very unnatural. In particular, those thin lightsabers..

Made it on the cheap. Clone Wars had Lucas backing it.

I Don’t Like The Clone Wars, I Don’t Know Why, But It Never Was Really “Good” In My Opinion Except For The Maul Episodes, The Episode With Darth Bane, And The Episodes About The Younglings Constructing Their Lightsabers. I Think Rebels Is 100000000000000000000 Times Better, I Can Actually Watch It Without Getting Bored And It’s Just Way More Intresting And Adds More To Canon

The problem I have with rebels is that its just but more aimed for kids which Im fine with but it gets a little annoying. On the other hand clone wars was practically for all ages. I also don't like rebels a ton is that it just seems like a downgrade from clone wars. My last complaint is most of the characters especially sabine is just kinda cliche and Zeb is just annyoing. Never the less im still currently watching rebels and it is pretty enjoyable at times so I will give it that.

The clone wars added more to canon. Plus I personally like the prequels and the clone wars was similar to the prequels. My point being it adds more to the prequel trilogy and anakin is much better then he was in attack of the clones. Any way rebels is just kinda kiddy and is just plain old sloppy.

Clone Wars was a far superior animation series... even the graphic modelling was better than Rebels. I tried to watch... but Rebels didn't cut it for me... sorry!!!

Both shows are great, and we're lucky to have them.

I feel like Rebels is a little more focused, despite its filler episodes. It just feels like there's a story they're actually trying to tell, like the series has a direction.

Clone Wars had some incredible episodes, and I think Ahsoka gave the series a bit of narrative to fall back on (I mean, she obviously had to go somewhere by the time RotS starts, right?) but a lot of times it just felt like we were just getting vignettes into the war itself. Which, ultimately, is still not a bad thing by any means.

Anyway, here's to hoping I'm right and Rebels is actually going somewhere.

I really enjoyed both, but I like Rebels better overall.

I think The Clone Wars has higher highs and lower lows, but Rebels is pretty consistent overall, and even its filler episodes are watchable. I think it would’ve been hard for The Clone Wars to accomplish what Rebels has in terms of maintaining a consistent storyline because it isn’t limited to one character or group of characters. However, Rebels couldn’t have accomplished what The Clone Wars did either because it didn’t have Cartoon Network as a viewing platform, nor did it have many main characters that audiences already knew.

Rebels had a lot going against it and it defied the odds. I think The Clone Wars fits in better with the prequels and what they were setting out to accomplish, while Rebels feels more like classic Star Wars. I had more of an emotional connection with Rebels because, again, there weren’t a zillion different storylines; instead, we allowed the characters we were given to develop over time into a family with a beautiful relationship.

Both shows are great, but Rebels is a little better in my book.

I have only watched the First series of Rebels and I was disappointed. I thought the characters childish and not very likeable, there were lots of great characters and settings in Clone Wars. I also much preferred the visual style for worlds in Clone Wars, Rebels didn't appeal to my imagination, it was a more traditional and Disney style animation I thought the Clone Wars more original and imaginative.

    consider giving it another chance.

i didn't like it either and abandoned it for some of the same reasons
but i came back a couple seasons later and it was really worth it, ultimately. : D

    Rebels for me. Why?
Because it felt like it had it's own story to tell and wasn't just trying to fill in gaps and explain away things in the films.
The Clone Wars is good and it's important because it does improve the PT by adding in much needed info and context IMO.
Rebels stands much better on it's own as a show

Both shows started slow, but grew much better over time. I still like The Clone Wars better. It has this grand scale of two superpowers fighting each other, political intrigue, huge battles for control over lots of different worlds and systems etc. Rebels is much smaller in scale and at times slightly more "for kids".

Clone Wars definitely. Rebels had very low lows that you had to slog through. There were definitely some bad and boring spots in it that just weren't very compelling.

I ordered the 2nd season and it arrived today, I have watched about 5 episodes and so far it seems a lot better than season one, they've toned down some of the stupidity so that the main characters are more likeable, the design and landscapes seem better and having some great characters that we'd encountered earlier:Vader, Ahsoka & Rex just makes it that much richer. I have to say it's really good to get some pleasant surprises in the Star Wars universe.

No you are not, the animation in Rebels is significantly better, along with the rest of the art direction.

Season 2 ending is one of the most epic things this franchise has produced. Still, I prefer the Clone Wars overall.

Now that Rebels has ended, I have to say I REALLY liked it. At first I wasn't sure, but I'm rewatching from the start, and this is good stuff. Especially since I know where it is going.

Clone Wars was also good, but the one thing I didn't like was the fact that Anakin, to me, seemed too different from Anakin of AOTC. I would like to have seen more of an arc for him. What I do love about the Clone Wars is: Obi Wan (my favorite of all time), Darth Maul's return (thought I'd hate it but nope it's done well) and I especially love Ahsoka Tano! She's just fantastic.

Just watched the end of season 2, that was very cool, definitely a high point. This season has improved and I think I'll get subsequent series so my opinion of it has certainly gone up. I'm interested to see what comes next and it's the only Disney Star Wars that I find interesting.
But for me the principle ensemble characters in Rebels are just not as captivating as those in Clones. I think Clone Wars has a broader vision.

I loved everything Rebels did to enhance our knowledge of the Rebellion but Clone Wars for now will hold onto the number one spot. Clone Wars, in my opinion is what saved the Star Wars franchise after the PT ended and I think may be partially responsible for us even getting the ST. Clone Wars enriched the entire PT and fixed many of the problems with Anakin's portrayal helping us to better understand his fall to the darkside. The show gave us a greater understanding of that Wars and opened so many new doors. Maul was brought back. Saw was introduced. Mortis. Umbara arc still is some of my favorite things in all of Star Wars, and most importantly, we finally got the answer about the mystery of Syfo Dyas and how Order 66 actually worked. At the end of the day, Rebels doesn't drastically change my perspective on the OT. Rogue One did that more for me. Clone Wars on the other hand did for the PT.

I thought that I'd like Clone Wars WAY better because of the era but it actually ended up being close. And since Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters and she ended up with a lot of screen time in both that helped as well. So, yeah I liked them both A LOT and pretty equally.
