"I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people." ~ Maz Kanata

So instead of thinking Rey/Kylo/Poe/Finn is a direct decendent of the Solo/Skywalker clans, how about the force awakening in the new generation as reincarnations of Kenobi/Skywalker/Yoda, etc.? The spiritual force would need a physical body to return right?

The Four of them could be reincarnations of the jedi who became one with the force, taking it one step further I found similarities in the jedi and the four noble truths of Buddhism which might be a bit overboard but still an interesting read.

Maybe it means that the character (narrator) is just freakinĀ“old and recognizes the same kind of personality in different beings, over the years.

I would really hate it if they start to give us reincarnated characters. This destroys all the things said characters fought for in their previous lives be that good actions or bad. Tarnishing Vader's awesome redemption by having him reincarnate would really suck as it would be having Sheev reincarnate to be a heroic Jawa who does great deeds cause he repented. I was never a fan of the reincarnated Emperor storyline in the comics as it made Vader's sacrifice seen that it was done for nothing so I really hope that Rey, Poe, Finn, Sarco Plank and the rest of the gang are just normal characters and not reincarnated versions of past characters though I sadly have to admit that if someone told me Finn was a reincarnated Jar Jar I would then have to believe it.

I at first thought it was something like that but at this time I thought that TFA was a following of RoTJ but I changed my mind, it's a new start and I think all the characters are new and except Kylo Ren unrelated.

There is no reincarnation in the PT or OT. (There is retaining your identity after death, which is different.) If they add reincarnation in the ST, I would consider this a violation of premise.
