RUMOR Reports of New TFA Trailer with Age of Ultron?

Still think it's surprising that we wouldn't get a second teaser until basically May.

Didn't we just get the second Ultron trailer during the national title game?

So why wait until May for a second teaser? When the hell do we get the first trailer?

Then again...perhaps we don't get a second teaser.

 

First of all.
It seems like you are really impatient when you write *when the hell* and being impatient can pretty often cloud peoples understanding of things (like in your case here). We are pretty much 11 months away from official release of the movie and releasing a full Trailer already is way to early. And yes we did just got a second Ultron trailer during the national title game, but that movie is more or less only little over 3 months away while (like I said before) Episode 7 is pretty much 11 months away, so there is a big difference in the timegab between the trailer releases and the actual movie release dates for the two movies.

Second of all.
Lets go throught it one more time (or for the 10th time)..It said First Teaser on the banner when the teaser in November was released, that indicates that there will be 1 more teaser trailer released. How hard can that be to understand ????

 

why not? the super bowl is a massive event and it would be a waste not to show something from the most anticipated movie of the year. no way on a huge blockbuster like star wars you wait 6 months between showing anything about the film. AOU doesn't need any help to be a huge success but ant-man might, plus the timing for the first full trailer is more right for july than may.

 

I guess they wont us to play it over & over again until our hearts are content then catches off guard with a 60 sec clip out of the blue.

 

Yes, I'm quite aware that there's supposed to be a second teaser. In fact, I believe I expressly mentioned that.

I was not being impatient, I was using colorful language. My point was about timeline. If the second teaser doesn't arrive until the end of April, that leads me to question when the first full length trailer will arrive.

 

If anyone thinks the superbowl still might be in play for a teaser release, John Campea from AMC makes a good point regarding Superbowl movie trailers. $4.5 million dollars per 30 seconds is not "economically wise" when the marketing department has a smaller fixed budget. He says Jurassic World is the only confirmed movie trailer for the super bowl and that the Jurassic team might be a tad more concerned with their current position.

Considering the first teaser was 88 seconds, star wars has already become the most anticipated, i can't see any new teaser released with the superbowl.

 

A trailer with Avengers 2 sounds logical.

 

We aren't really talking about a trailer though, we're talking about a second TEASER.

Again. If you wait until end of April, early May for just a second teaser (potentially OT cast centric) then when do you put out the first full trailer?

You'll wnd up having two full trailers, so are now at the beginning of May, less than 8 months away from release, and you've only given two teasers.

So you attach the first full trailer to a summer movie? (Like Antman). Well that's only 2 months after the second teaser.

A Super Bowl release makes sense for a second teaser because it would fall at the halfway point between the first teaser and what we assume will be the first full trailer attached to Ultron.

On top of that, the Super Bowl featuring an OT cast centric teaser would hit a target audience that is primarily in their 20s to 50s....the exact age range you want to aim an OT centric teaser at.

They aren't the primary ones that boosted the viewings of the first Teaser.

They're the ones that Disney wants to go "Oh wow! Luke, Han and Leia?! I didn't even know this was happening!"

Guess who those people aren't, they aren't the ones obsessing on message boards and they aren't the ones going to Age of Ultron, by and large.

People here forget how little normal people actually know that there's even a Star Wars movie coming out in 11 months and many that are aware have only seen a teaser that features new cast and the Falcon.

P.S.- Guess who has more money to blow....adults or hipsters. Yeah, that's right, adults, and especially adults with kids and grandkids who they may want to bring to the movie.

The Super Bowl is THE perfect venue for those people.

EDIT: And please, 4.5 million to promote the movie at the biggest viewing event of the year in the U.S.?
That's a drop in the bucket for Disney and Star Wars. I can't believe people think that's even an issue.

You did bring up a trailer which, you do understand is different than a teaser.

I feel like I explained this in my post, but it appears you only made it to the first sentence.

 

Nothing new Episode 7 related will be released with the Super Bowl.
