    Glad you're hooked! Thank you!

No apologies. There's a lot going on in those frames. I agree about the seem less connection between PT and OT.

Bought this Friday along with the first to Star Wars comics, and all I can say is WOW. This was a fantastic issue. I loved seeing Vader getting bitched out by palps for his failures and since he was the only survivor of the Death Star explosion. I also liked seeing him get pissed at Jabba for calling him a Jedi! Can't wait for the next issue!

If you are trying to remain spoiler free on anything it is probably best to avoid ALL threads with the word SPOILER in the title.

So, I really like looking ahead and seeing the solicitations that are coming out for comic books, especially Marvel solicits now that I'm collecting their Star Wars publications. Well, they had recently revealed the covers to their May releases and I saw this:

Did any of you think the same thing when you saw this picture?

Will we be seeing Ahsoka Tano come face-to-face with her old Master? This is something that I, as an Ahsoka Tano fan, have been dying to see: Darth Vader vs Ahsoka Tano.

    True, but...
Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi she was roughly 16 or 17 years old and in the Darth Vader comics, which takes place right after the events of Episode IV, she would be well into her 30s. So it's not impossible that she may have adapted a longer lightsaber for any number of reasons over the previous years that took place between The Clone Wars and Episode IV. I'm just saying, the color scheme is one that I've not seen commonly used by any except Ahsoka Tano. I just thought it was worth pointing out.

I just read the comic. Great stuff!

By the way, I totally think our mystery man is...

Kylo Ren. Seriously, look at the human part of his face in his first appearance and tell me that that doesn't look like Adam Driver. Even more likely considering that Making Star Wars noted that there are metal pieces attached to his face and that half his face is covered. If he has a giant Rodian eye attached to his face, it's probably not hard to see why he wears a mask.

Oh, and if the above image is suggesting that Darth Vader fights Ahsoka Tano, then I think it's safe to say that she'll be around to a little before Return Of The Jedi at least. Who knows? She might even live!

Yup, I think you're right. Wow, I can't believe I didn't think of that. But I think you are spot on with it. I was allowing my emotions for Ahsoka Tano cloud my judgement lol

I'm enjoying both books so far, but...... I was also way into the last Dark Horse Star Wars book that tread the same time period as the new Marvel ones are. It's interesting to see the supervised, LFL Story Group managed Marvel books as opposed to the shoot from the hip Dark horse Star Wars book that ended just last year. What I'm most looking forward to with all of the new Marvel books is all the tie-ins and lead up to all the Trilogy and Spinoff films. We'll probably get a few clues between the comics and the novels as to what's going on 35 years in the future.

The one thing I'm disapointed about, especially with the Vader book, is the seemingly unending number of "variants". I couldn't tell you which one is the "normal" cover at all. I think it undercuts the reason for having variants. But that's just my opinion....

Don't you mean "especially with the Main book"?

I am collecting the variants. DV only has 18 or so... SW has over 50....

Most likely through the Marvel app. I think said app might work on Kindle, though.

Most would use the Marvel or Comixology apps. But the kindle store would also have it. You'd get it like any other book. The comic reading functionality is built into the kindle.
