You should have a look at KotOR II. That's where the real blast begins...
If that defines who's the most powerful, than Obi-wan is.
Wait a second... Are you seriously suggesting that we shouldn't just take random plotpoint out of context and start a "who has the most flaws" contest?
You're definitely not a real Star Wars fan!!!4four!!

That's why Episode IX is going to be amazing, I can't wait to find out how Rey and the resistance are going to survive against dumb and dumber, sorry I mean Kylo and Hux.

Discuss the post, not the poster.

I do read everything, my long debates with many members on this site should prove the point.

What problem did she solve for Luke? She was wrong about everything.

Well, believing makes perfect sense for me. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

I had a dream that JJ really wanted to one-up Rian Johnson. So in the opening scene, Hux walks in to Kylo's bedroom while he's sleeping, grabs his lightsaber and kills him. Then Hux mutters something about making fun of gingers. Then I woke up.

She is the one who tells him what to do, what he did wrong to Kylo - she is basically lecturing him. I think the "wrong about everything" scene with Luke was mostly played for laughs.

Rey beat Luke in TLJ. Also if she can move boulders like that Snoke shouldn't have been able to toss her around.

    Rey flying the Falcon.... OK.

Rey on the mind trick. She may have had the knowledge from Ren but not the experience. You can have the knowledge of something and be unable to put it into practice. The fact she did it in under 3 tries, with no supervision under a Mentor, makes her far more powerful than Anakin, Yoda, Obi Wan, Luke.... etc etc. Unrealistic.

Regarding Rey vs Kylo in TFA. Once again, despite having the knowledge she has no experience. Even a handicapped Kylo Ren holds the advantage from years upon years of training. Or do you suppose during Kylo's training or experiences in the galaxy he was never injured and fought through it? Or conflicted? Kylo held the advantage regardless from experience, and it was even stated that pain enhances the Dark Side users capabilities under duress. The fact he killed Han Solo and overcame thst obsticle, was another plot point that gave him an advantage, growing deeper in the Dark Side of the Force. Rey was no match for Kylo Ren, even injured.

Rey versus the Praetorian guards. Regardless of her abilities, her journey maybe only began within a week of this scene. She has already mastered the force and lightsaber techniques. Given this, she did indeed deserve to beat them. However, her unexplained super mastery leaves questions about canon and the accuracy of her character.

Rey and Kylo force pulling the same lightsaber. I have no problem with this scene.

Rey lifting rocks. Unrealistic, again she does not have the experience, she may have the knowledge but not the experience. She didn't go from a single few rocks and work her way up. She mastered it right away. Unrealistic.

Regarding the rest, nothing else needs to be said. Clearly she doesn't have the experience yet excels anyway. Making her more powerful than any predecessor before her. She clearly has the ability to take Snoke on 1 vs 1. So the whole Snoke throwing her around scene was completely unrealistic.

I added some replies to that, and give myself a well done for a well thought out rebuttal.

    Indeed! Traitors!

Unrealistic though. Given her raw power, abilities, progression. The whole Snoke/Rey fight should have been an Anakin versus Dooku moment.

    Indeed! Traitor!

Rey is daughter of Luke Skwalker and Force sensitive women Aya Glon from planet Deluge(Lew'el).
That makes her something unique,as in the Canon we have no precedent of such birth(child of Force sensitive mother ,father a son of the Chosen one).

Any other explanation of Rey's ultimate powers is slight and will not pass the trial of history, making Rey's ultimate powers stand forever against canon consistency.

    Where did she beat him?

He toyed with her. Like Kylo toyed with Finn in TFA.

    wow.

the point is, Voldemort used his magical abilities purposefully without being shown how, or even knowing what exactly they were; at least Rey knew about the Force while she was doing stuff! Tom Riddle wasn't necessarily evil as a child, and only time will tell if Rey goes to the dark side (let's not kid ourselves, i don't think she'll turn); where they sit on the good to bad spectrum is irrelevant, they both are powerful individuals that use their powers, knowingly or unknowingly. just like Anakin did while piloting an otherwise unpilotable craft at a very young age.

basic concepts of writing stories all involve a villain being more powerful than the hero? what are you on about?

i guess, as mentioned above, Superman is out.

same goes for Goku for the great majority of the Dragon Ball series.

one punch man must be pure trash, i guess.

Thor is stronger than Loki, but i suppose that's more bad writing.

even Jesus was more powerful than the villain! c'mon man. (note: this is from a literary perspective; not trying to get religious and would prefer not to)

EDIT: Shylock in Merchant of Venice is also worth a mention. i can go on...

Yeah lost handily but she cheated and grabbed the saber and surprised Luke. She's lucky Luke didn't get too pissed and force throw her off the island.

I did like when he says "Leave this Island, NOW!" All I could hear was "get off my lawn!"

I wasn't referring to that scene at all. She lectures Luke? No. She is dramatic little blast. She thinks he turned Ben and created Kylo Ren. Wrong. He might have pushed him over the finish line, but Kylo was already in the home stretch. She offers him a lightsaber to go to Kylo like she intends to. Wrong choice, again. And when Luke finally does it, he does it without the weapon. She thinks Kylo is galaxy's only hope. Wrong. He is galaxy's new tyrant. Everything she said to Luke - was wrong. "This is not going to go the way you think." Luke was right about everything, she was wrong.

How exactly do you practice that? Do they just get some stupid people to stand there and then try and trick them? Did the Jedi just go into a bar and try and find people that looked "weak minded" and then ask them to do stuff?

Also, since you are speaking with extreme authority when you say she's more powerful than Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda and Luke...I guess you know how many times they tried and failed before succeeding? You see, you can't make those statements because you have no evidence.

Oh you mean how a recently demoted pilot think he's all of a sudden the fleet admiral?

Again she doesn't have the experience. She may have had the knowledge but zero experience. It really doesn't matter. Just because you have knowledge of something doesn't mean you are going to be able to do it. She has zero experience in anything, yet does it like she has had 50 years of training. You can't explain or dodge that.

She is more powerful than any other character we have ever seen.

    No they don't.

For reference, what you're misquoting references "claims", not "power". And it's usually referring to outlandish claims needing quite a bit of evidence to be taken seriously. You know, kind of like this very claim I've quoted about extraordinary powers.

To apply it to a fictional universe is how you end up talking about Midichlorians again.
