I am glad that finaly tide is turning with debate about true Rey's parentage that is heating.
Only children can believe that latest talk about how J.J. Abrams had different idea about Rey parents is coincidence, or that is a bug in the system.

I am telling this because I like they are preparing the people. On my own, the original post makes things clear already.

 

Yes that to. But there is something else.

Yoda presses Rey's need in front of Luke and what she is (something extraordinary they must not lose),and that she needs something from Luke and Luke needs to realise this.

It is strange that Yoda must tell to Luke of Rey's need to be teached,of Rey's need of Luke, because its what Luke already absolutely already knows, he said himself to Rey:"You need a teacher".

So why is Yoda telling to Luke that he does not see obvious things in front of his nose is very peculiar..?.

Yoda ,who is one with the Force, must see the future, knows that Luke is about to die in body soon and no any teaching (conventional) between Luke and Rey will follow afterwards because of Luke's death whatever he said to Luke.
Luke is about to die....I do not know am I followed to this point but something is not clear here.

It seems to me at least as definitive indicator that Luke ( obviously as a Force ghost) and Rey will comunicate in episode IX.

In Short_ Yoda is asking suspiciously to much from Luke to understand about Rey , because Luke is about to die before he even meet Rey again.

 

Their minds were bridged and he sough Luke in Rey's mind.

Kylo Says he can't see her surroundings, jet he says,..this is something else...strange talk...than he feels Luke trough Rey's mind, it can be only trough her mind.

From then on, I believe, he was exploting this fact what he sough, and keeped it for himself.​

The elevator talk is also strange...why would he want to say to Rey she is daughter of nobody before she faces almighty Snoke? To weaken her even more?
He wanted to say something before Snoke to her....looks like he was not sure to tell her or not,

Nobody notes one more thing..

Rey says that she sough Ben' future when they touched hands.

One would expect that Kylo/Ben sough her parents in that scene to, when they touched hands.

Actually..he acts like he knew it before.

In the Force-skype before that scene , ( in scene in which Kylo was shirtles), Kylo already pressed Rey with hard talk ..."you parents left you like garbage"



So Kylo has an issue of her perants from before, and where did he got that?

In fact Kylo has an issue of her parents from scene he said.."Luke", sensing Luke trough Rey...First Force Skype.

In the Elevator, he calculated: If I say her she is Skywalker she may find additional strenght and help me to get rid of Snoke.....on the other hand, she will know she is my equal and I could not have authority over he to turn her. So in the elavator Kylo couldn't decide.

Rey says: "I feel conflict in you."



After they killed Snoke, it was absolutely clear for Kylo which version is in his interest.

Announcing major intellectual breaktrough for my friends ,( that actually slipped in front of our nose).
In the elevator scene in The Last Jedi:
Kylo Ren says this exact words:

"Rey, I sough who your parents are"
Who your parents ARE

Than, after battle with Snoke's guards, he talks
"Your parents were....."
WERE

My dear friends, and I think that this is it. We have epic trilogy, we can slowly start to rejoice and if he could read this I would give my thanks to mr Rian Johnson for his epic film, which will be long remembered and talked even I think more after the episode IX,after which the true role and message of The Last Jedi, this masterpiece, will became obvious .This is simply a mastery and he has done with the frame of the episode that was given to him one scenario that is simply unbeliveably subtile, and in many ways perfect. I admire those poeple and envy them for their luck to be able to make all this beauty for us.
We should not spread this find widely I posted this since I find myself active Star Wars fan, and member of wider community of poeple who are bind with the love for this films, and I feel need to share information. Let the things go the way they are supposed to go.

 

You guys want to say Kylo Ren wanted to say to Rey in the elevator, before she faces Snoke, "Rey I sough who your parents ARE 2 junk dealers?"

But wait, didn't he already said to her before they threw her away like garbage? So he wanted to confirm her fears in the elevator, before she faces Snoke , and helps him?

By coincidence, emediately after elevator scene they face Snoke, represent of that same dark side, and Snoke says:"..Anorther Skywalker I presumed...wrongly."

I am very much sure in what I think and said, and passing over it will, be, since I am not native speaker.is it correct word:."underthinking".


To encirlce this and wrap it up, now we turn to original Post with this from the TLJ Novel:

"Rey is mesmerized and fixated on Snoke's eyes — much like the Dark Side cave on Ahch-To."

 

It is more than safe to say its impossible Snoke talks that Luke Skywalker would rise as the Kylo grew up in his power, since Luke was already 30 years ago a powerfull Jedi, before Kylo Ren was even born.

Balance, as Kylo Ren's power grew, the Force reacted by birth of oponent equal in power, from the Light side.

Snoke presumed only Skywalkers have such potential, such raw power, it would be again a Skywalker....Sykwalker against Skywalker. Interesting.

Snoke says his estimate was wrong, like Rey is not Skywalker..to his surprise..shall we believe mr Snoke? I am not sure shall we believe Snoke, honestly.

In the novel Rey sees Dark Cave on Ahch-to in Snoke's eyes, what Snoke represents was present also in the dark cave. And after the dark cave Rey felt lonely anlike ever before.

The dark cave (just like Snoke, and Kylo ) denied Rey to see clearly her true origin.

However, there was a trace of Light in Kylo, and you want to know when my dear people?

In the elevator, when Rey and him had that close talk...in the elavator, when Rey called him Ben , , and Ben wanted ,for a brief moment ,to tell to Rey something else about her parents, he knows who they ARE.
