I had this thought about how the throne room fight in TLJ might be a foreshadowing of what's to come.

ROTJ and ROTS both ended up with exactly what the Emperor wanted. Luke vs Vader. Anakin vs Count Dooku.

So there are a few scenarios that could play out.

A kind of repeat where only Kylo is Supreme leader and the KoR guard him. Rey fights them in the throne room. Then Rey vs Kylo

Rey vs KoR somehwere else and Kylo kills and betrays them. Then the real duel begins. Rey vs Kylo

Finn picks up a lightsaber one last time and helps Rey fight Kylo and the KoR. Finn dies

Rey is caught off guard by herself and faces them all.

Luke's not really dead and it ends up being Rey and Luke vs Kylo and KoR.

Ok...I could go on and on... But all I want since this is supposedly the last movie is that we have one last Kick-A$$ duel. A real one. As much as liked TLJ's throne room fight it wasn't the classic show down and I want it to level up from TFA's duel.

I was gonna make it a poll but I changed my mind. What's your thoughts?

Oh okay cool I'm totally on-board with this.

    WAIT WHAT?! REVERSE! REVERSE!

In all seriousness, they'd need to switch it up for the fight with the KoR to be different than the Throne Room fight. Or hire the fight people from The Raid: Redemption and its sequel.
The best I can think of at the moment is a fight like in anime and...dare I say it...Iron Fist Season 1. Have Rey try to reach Kylo but be challenged by the KoR one or two at a time. That way we can see each character's strength and weakness, leading up to a fight with Kylo. But frankly, I'd rather not have that be the case at all. Kylo and Rey teaming up without Finn and Poe doesn't interest me since we've already seen it. Nor does Rey fighting Kylo a third time.
So, what's the alternative? The best I can see is splitting up the KoR as different generals for the battles, and most of them dying that way. That leaves Kylo to fight his former allies while Rey side-steps the fight to accomplish whatever goal is needed the Jedi way (ala Luke in TLJ).

Too similar to ROTJ and TLJ for me. So, no. I see it more as a scene like in ROTS were Obi-Wan is surrounded by battle droids but Grievous just says that he's dealing with him on his own. This could be the same with Rey, Kylo and the KOR.

Why would Kylo betray his knights AND then he would fight Rey? Wouldn't it be more likely that Kylo beat Rey, but he can't kill her? So the KOR betray him and he has to fight them?

Very unlikely IMO. He's off doing stuff with Poe. And he won't die, especially not after TLJ.

    Luke is dead.

I didn't say these were going to happen. I just used them as scenarios and examples and asked what everyone thinks will happen and what they want to see in a Rey vs Kylo and how KoR will fit into it.

There is a shot in the trailer of Kylo and some Stormtroopers fighting one of the Knights of Ren, which conforms to Spoilers about that group's absence from TLJ and the reasons behind said absence and dovetails nicely with the confirmed return of Palpatine as the "greatest evil" our heroes must face together.

And you can also spot a second KOR in the right corner of the scene.

So, and sorry if this has already been speculated, the KOR realize the error of thier ways and join the resistance?

According to spoiler information that I saw online and that has been confirmed to be true with a significant degree of accuracy, the Knights of Ren spent the events of The Last Jedi traveling the Unknown Regions and brought something back from "The Beyond" that ends up pitting them against Kylo. Given that we now know that Palpatine returns and is the "greatest evil" that our heroes end up having to take down, it seems likely that his return causes an 'enemy of mine enemy' situation with Kylo where he ultimately ends up fighting the Knights of Ren personally.

Could this be information that turns them to the light?

Why are you convinced that Kylo fighting against the Knights of Ren means that they have "joined the light side"?

The spoiler info is that Kylo fights against them, not the other way around.

I'm not. That's why I said could this be information that turns them to the light? My POSSIBLE SPECULATION is that they would turn to the light and be fighting with the resistance. But, as you see from my name, I'm an imposter
