I think we had a misunderstanding before, but now you've gone all in on saying that these two actors couldn't play the part if they were directed to do so in a more serious manner that aligns with your opinion. I'd just like to climb to a mountaintop and scream that "Kylo Ren is supposed to be unstable, that's the point!".

 

I see him as plausible powerfull darkside warrior, and instable young guy, but not the Emperor.

To please you maybe, its just like if Anakin when he turned to the Dark side killed Palpatine and became emperor...

(which actually they did with Snoke's early death, they made situation which would be like if Anakin killed Palpatine in ep. III and became emperor emediately....strange and difficult to have plausability, and plausible continuation, because he was out of the place for such job..not polititian,but warrior:, young one.

Imagine Hyden Christensen sitting as an Emperor.

Let's hope they are up to the task with making Kylo a plausible emperor.

Ren's gonna HATE being in power. And he's going to be terrible at it. Not only because his way of gaining power was not one of consistent planning and flawless execution but a literal snap decision. He's NOT prepared. Also because he's an emo-woobie with daddy issues a mile wide and abandonment issues seeping through his every pore. Mostly cuz of all the mental and physical abuse he was exposed to at the hand of Snoke, the dirty gremlin (may he rest is frickin pieces)

 

That's is how we do it, we learn things like what carbonite is and rancor mating habits, then we are in. The boom everyone has a phazer and no more shiny lights sticks. We have no space leprechauns, we have cold hard science and hard core nerds that have been getting wedges' for 50 years. We will rule. It could be worse I could have been a Brony.

No need to say things to please me. You can't see the Kylo Ren character as Supreme Leader, I get it. I'm touchy about Adam Driver because OMG is he a fantastic actor, that's all.

Let's turn Luke into an almost-murderer to build sympathy for the "villain" so that Luke later has to die to right that wrong, after apologizing to his victim. We'll also have the father of the "villain" die trying to save him on the wishes of his mother. And to top it off, we can have the mother of the "villain" come to grips with the fact that her son has to die regardless of whether he's redeemed or not, making those sacrifices damn near not worth it in the end, and then she'll just die too, surrounded by friends (which is good) since everyone in her family is dead (not good) because they could never get their blast together.
