    I believe Leia will have a hand in her training. Like many of you have stated, more on the emotional and mental aspects than the physical. Honestly, it's why I believe Rian missed a big opportunity at the end to TLJ. I would have liked to see Leia trying to lift the rocks on one side and Rey trying on the other. Would have been perfect setup...but I digress.

    As for the scene with the remote, I have a theory. I believe Rey was wearing the red thing she's holding as a blindfold and was practicing laser bolt deflection (a skill we have yet to see her accomplish). Maybe she misses a few and then takes off the blindfold and throws the lightsaber at the remote in frustration. That's when Leia steps in and has a talk with Rey.

    I bet you will see Rey training by herself and referencing the books she "borrowed" from Luke's library (without a library card, I might add).
