HUMOR Rian Johnson calls out Mike Zeroh

Looking back at that old Zeroh video is classic. Zeroh looks like a religious fanatic, or wanna be warlock, Harry Potter on acid..... i won't even discuss the video content... I just filed it away and Zeroh'd it.

Also let's not forget that Rian disrespected Mark Hamill publically and called him a "REDACTED" (in front of young fans) and insinuates that anyone who doesn't like TLJ should just watch it over and over until they do. Rian doesn't respect others' opinions.

I'm not a fan of Zeroh either and I feel he clickbaits a lot.. but some of the name calling in this thread isn't cool.

No name calling my end, moving on.. but I still think this is a cowardly move on Rian's part.

EVS is a vile YouTuber. I made the mistake of watching one of his hate filled rants. Anyone who watches that consistently should be embarrassed.

One thing about Zeroh is that he's also a thief. He steals other people's real content and doesn't give them credit. He makes money on those videos. It's unethical and shameful.

He's been doing this schtick for years and misleading countless people for his own personal gain and insulting some more because they dared to call out his lies. He deserves no respect.

IMO Zeroh's impact is insignificant. I scrolled through his channel and 90% of it is stuff that never gets traction. I guess a lot of people who buy his made-up stuff are those who want it to be true. The biggest damage he can cause is when news outlets run with his BS and there's zero excuse for news outlets not to double check the legitimacy of the source.

Let me reiterate - there's no doubt what he does is bad and his content is indefensible. But at the same time the fact that his stuff is worthless is so obvious that throwing punches at him and stirring drama seems redundant. It's like... you don't prove anything new by doing that.

 

I think that RJ is a great filmmaker...maybe not a great SW Flmmaker

It's kind of amazing the amount of nonsense that some of the people who don't like Rian Johnson believe. RIan Johnson never insulted Mark Hamill and the two a very close. Rian Johnson has never attacked fans who don't like the film. People are free not to The Last Jedi, but this idea that Lucasfilm is attacking fans is silly.

It seems like some people won't be satisfied until RJ apologizes for making a film they don't like. It's not gonna happen. Rian Johnson is a really nice guy and he's been great with the fans.

 

The guy was reporting an article and was speculating. He never had a negative to say about LucasFiml or Rian Johnson so the attack is unfounded.

 

MZ is a lie-mongerer and deserves no defense by the fans. Even IF you hate Rian Johnson for having "destroyed Star Wars" (or whatever nonsense) that does not in any way justify MZ' lying to dupe fans for click revenues (and not siting sources etc. etc.).

 

That is purely pathetic. Man with power attacking the little youtuber ...

Once again, this is bullying.

 

This is in no way, shape, or form bullying.

- Zeroh published another fraud video saying Rian Johnson was fired.
- Hundreds of trolls tweet at Rian Johnson celebrating that he's been fired
- Rian Johnson is perplexed at why this is happening
- Someone points out it came from Zeroh
- Rian Johnson laughs because even he's aware of the fraud because some poor Lucasfilm employee has to monitor leaks and Zeroh is always wrong

There's no bullying here. Just because you don't like The Last Jedi doesn't mean you hate everything Rian Johnson says or does.

Zeroh makes money lying and stealing Star Wars related content. Defending him is an odd hill to die on.

Spreading misinformation about an employee being fired at Lucasfilm is negative. Zeroh is not a positive member of the Star Wars fan community. Even YouTubers who hate TLJ admit this truth.

 

It's a bully move and I'm not surprised.

BTW, this franchise had been zeroh'd too.

 

I'm disappointed that this your opinion. In the past you've been very reasonable, but to insist that this is bullying is disingenuous.

It's getting embarrassing that people are willing to defend someone as fraudulent as Zeroh simply because they don't like Rian Johnson.

You're obfuscating the question by bringing Trump/JJ in this discussion. Rian Johnson responding to a tweet about Zeroh and telling a behind the scenes story isn't bullying. Zeroh is a well known fraudster. We've mocked him in this forum for years.
