Yeah...and the way industry screenings like that go, they're given simple notes to fix things here and there so only the only team outside of LFL that have seen the movie are most likely Bob Iger, the studio head of Disney, and maybe even John lASSETER

That is surly the job of Alan Horn.Whatever, LFL doesn't need tips from those guys, things like "it is to dark", would have shown in preproduction. The whole premise screams, who's going to die.

Any notes that are given would never say, "is too dark" but rather include what is possible with reshoots but yeah, it is pretty crazy how the speculation is getting out of hand in my opinion as people just want to believe what they believe

Nope. I'm with you. I think the gnashing of teeth is rather silly and unsupported by facts. Like others have said, time will tell. If it's a mess in December, then it's a mess in December. That's really the only thing that matters.

If it were a mess to begin with, then they would have utilized the Spring window to take care of the reshoots instead of waiting for a few months.

Having worked in the film industry, I know that most films have re-shoot time scheduled from the get-go. Usually to fix pacing, and other mistakes made down the road. I'm not worried about this. :) A lot of people worry for no reason.
Remember when the world freaked out the Heath Ledger was a terrible choice for Joker? Best Batman movie ever. Oh and Dark Knight had re-shoots.

Re-shoots are certainly common and many times they improve the final cut, but what some of as are also concerned about is the fact that several sources that are supposedly reliable have been making conflicting claims in the past week and a half or so. When one website says that the re-shoots will be minimal and made only for character development (talk in cockpits, etc.) and then another source announces that the stunt coordinator will be helping out during the re-shoots, people get worried. It's certainly no reason to lose our minds over, it's just a movie (don't hit me people), but the issue goes well beyond there simply being re-shoots for a Star Wars movie.

What rumors? All I know is that the Disney execs want a reshoot after watching the finished film. Why do they want reshoots?

If you ask why they want reshoots, we should ask why EVERY movie wants reshoots. We may never know why. And we'll never know the difference. There are very few movies these days that don't do reshoots.

Also reshoots for that long of a time is just a window and doesn't mean they will be shooting literaly that entire time because they have to allow for the schedules to clear up

All I was asking was, why you are so certain that it needed Disney guys, as if Lucasfilm, who is in charge here, can't judge and plan on their own. It is not the first movie they saw.
