    Recently people have been crying for a Teaser Trailer. However, what about a Teaser poster or an official full poster?

    When do you think they will be released?

    History: We know that the original Teaser poster for THE FORCE AWAKENS was given out at Celebration back in April 2015. Shortly after that came the official Poster release before the first full trailer in October 2015.

    Do you think they will follow similar time frames in the release?

    What will be see on the Teaser Poster?

    What will be featured on the main poster?

    Will it be classic looking like the original's and geared more towards ANH?

    Will it have an EMPIRE STRIKES BACK feel to it since it has said to be a "WAR film?

    When do you think the release will be?

    Will it feature Vader?

    So many things to discuss?

    I think that a teaser poster is almost assuredly coming at Celebration. There's going to be one, and it seems the most natural time for it to happen.

    As for the contents of the teaser poster. I think that it will be heavily dominated by the Death Star. I think it's going to focus on that, Felicity Jones, Donnie Yen and Ben Mendelsohn. (Jones and Yen as they seem to be our main protagonists and Mendelsohn is most likely our primary villain).

    I don't think Vader's going to be there (since a teaser poster like this is geared more towards the fans than the official poster will be), but I'm almost 50/50 on it, so who knows.

    Of course it'll feature Darth Vader, because also, all the merchandise will bring Vader to the front.

    I can't wait. Come on already!

    Here's one thing I think could be effective in the portrayal of the Death Star:

    show half of its structural (being built, realistically rendered) transitioning visually into schematics (e.g. "wireframe view" as opposed to fully 3D shaded).

    This could help emphasize, in a cool way, the central aspect of the film being about the plans to the Death Star.

    I wouldn't be surprised if they keep DV quiet and use his entrance in the movie as a twist or reveal.

    I think they will either not show him at all, or if they do it will be an all out marketing blitz. I don't think it will be some sort of half-hearted nod to try and lure casual viewers into the theater.

    It would be cool if they market the trailers not to include Vader. However, they are in a catch 22 with all this hype. At this point people are expecting a Vader appreaance

    Because he will sell the movie.. And too see Vader on the screen on the front in action along side stormtroopers killing rebels, hell yes!
