EVENT Rogue One Trailer Skype Viewing Party THURSDAY NIGHT

I get what you are saying. I have some mates who supposedly have been Star Wars fans for a long long time but they are not really hyped or even aware about Rogue One. No one's judging, just saying! Lol.

 

my sister watched the trailer with me last night and she was totally baffled even though i have told her about ten times that this is a different story, etc.
and she's no idiot (even if she does hate Kylo Ren ~ ha!).
to be fair, she has always been a casual fan and we're old and our brains are starting to stutter ~ hahaha

 

I waited until 10:20, because people here had to go to bed. My mother messaged me and told me when it was on (She's a huge septuagenarian Star Wars fan btw) and then I refreshed youtube until it came on. It wasn't long.

 

My sister didn't stay up for it, she saw it this morning & wished she had.

 

Would be funny if Krennic gathers all the high brass in the imperial military and navy to show in a weapon's test the full functionality and destructive power of the death star; of course also in order to underline his own succesful management of the project. They fire the weapon at 100%, but unfortunately the weapon only performs at 25%. They blow a large hole into the planet rendering it inhabitable, but however unfortunate for Krennic. the destruction of the enitire planet is not achieved. He does look rather concerned in the trailer We all know what Vader does with people who do not deliver.

 

Same over here in my office. The guys have Stormtrooper slide shows on their desktop, but never heard a word about R1.

Will be interesting when Galen Erso then steps in, as he's supposed to be the guy who fixes the problem with the death stars laser ir so I've heard.

 

I didn't see it last night due to a stupid cat messing up our router... My brother literally woke me up this morning to make me watch it right then in bed, lol.

My top 1 moment from the Rogue One trailer - In combination with music and the following line: "Everyday they grow stronger". Epic.

 

One of my brothers-in-law, who's always talking about Star Wars when I see him, admitted to not really being interested in Rogue One. He hasn't seen any of the trailers. On the other hand, people whom I wouldn't necessarily consider huge fans have been keeping up with everything that's been put out. So we'll see how things go for this movie.

I find it funny how Luke took out an AT-AT easily but a giant missile can not take down an ACT-AT .

 

The missile does take out one of its guns. Baze is smart........AND HAS A BIG GUN...right? Luke threw a termal imploder into the troop deployment hatch.

 

the difference is that a gun that big should have knocked the walker on its a## .

 

Yes pressure is on our cloaked friend to deliver the ultimate weapon in the galaxy, I have a feeling Vader kill him due to the death star plans being robbed, that's the way of the empire..
