    Just saw it today and HOLY COW this is either the greatest piece of false advertising in 2016 or this is going to be an AWESOME Star Wars movie. Dark, intense, very Halo and Battlefront inspired.. I just love it. (dual)
    The music.. I don't know who's composing the trailer music, but.. I'm a big fan of Two Steps from Hell and.. that sounds like what they would do if they were asked to score a Star Wars movie, which I hope someday they will. :D
    I will also note that in following these three trailers I have seen no significant change in the advertised tone of this movie. I don't know what they reshot, but this film still feels like 1976, not 1977.(star destroyer)

    We'll, it's funny you should bring 'real life' up.. because in 'real life' our 30 lbs wet Kylo Ren just took a shotgun blast to the stomach. He then engages a trained soldier who is impetuous and fresh.. and wins. He then picks a fight with female mma fighter.. and loses.
    That's the problem with your 'assessment' of real life. You believe the second fight is the problem.. not the first.

    That is exactly how I feel to. Jedi and Sith, the Force and the religion behind it has always been what attracted me to Star Wars. That is probably why I cant seem to get into the Rogue One trailers as much as the saga trailers.

    But if I had to mention the new Rogue One trailer, i would definitely say that it is an beautiful trailer without an doubt. Awesome sets and great shots.. I'm definitely going to see it in the theater, I mean It is Star Wars right ;);) ..

    Given it looks like Galen is going to be a reluctant engineer of the Death Star, is it a pretty good bet that he designed the exhaust ports as a purposeful weakness?

    I really dug the new trailer. A lot. It looks to me like we're going to get just what Gareth has talked about all along - a solid, old-school war movie (IMHO in the vein of The Dirty Dozen) set in the Star Wars universe. And if this trailer is any indication, we're in for a helluva fun ride.

    If I recall correctly, the exhaust port was addressed in the old EU anthology "Tales From the Mos Eisley Cantina". It has been quite a few years since I read it, but I was thinking one of the stories was about it.. Come to think of it, it could have been "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" when IG-88 transplanted himself as the Death Star's A.I. central controller. We know they have been mining the EU and GL's early concepts, so why not?

    The giant scope of this trailer is amazing. Feels like a three hour movie. I wasn't that hyped before but after seeing trailer 2 today, I'm more hyped than I was. Looks like it will be really good.
