    We've seen other great directors take on the films. We got our wish, but alas, we look back, and yes, George Lucas is the Grandmaster after all.

    What could Ridely Scott, George Miller, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, Brad Bird, Joss Whedon, Russo Brothers, James Gunn, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, do with a Star Wars film? but makes us harken back to Grand Daddy George. George Lucas is the master, your move...

    It kind of makes sense... wasn’t there a big hoo-haa before Solo came out, with loads of people saying they were going to boycott it? If they get George Lucas directing the next one then that will straight away win them all back again. Who’s going to boycott Lucas doing a new Star Wars movie? They’ll be a massive buzz about it... probably even bigger than the third sequel movie.

    I'd like to see George work on this with Dave Filoni, to be honest. While I'd love love love for George to have one last go around directing Star Wars, I'd love to see him act as Executive Producer and Dave to write and direct it. Kind of like George handing the baton over to Dave. I have no doubt that Dave should take over LFL, and to do so I think he needs to direct at least one film just so he can have that experience.

    If George isn't doing it, and if Dave Filoni won't be writing/directing, then get James Mangold in. Logan is one of my favorite films ever. I'd love to see his take on Obi Wan, especially if it is set in between III and IV.
