    Great finds!

I've still got a few of the Kenner Die-Cast ships too, I have the Millennium Falcon, Star destroyer, Slave 1, Cloud Car and Snow Speeder.

Did you get the tiny Blockade Runner with the Star Destroyer? Mine went missing over 30 years ago:(

Great find @Bloo Leeder and @Lock_S_Foils - proper throwback stuff. In fact you should've left it to post these on Thursday ;)

Yeah, I still have the Destroyer with the tiny Blockade Runner - I remember swapping for it at school as my mate wanted the Gran Torino from Starsky & Hutch instead. I have a Falcon and Snowspeeder too.

@Lazarus Dei I tried to explain what Starsky and Hutch was to @Bloo Leeder .... alas, I was not successful!

Suffice it to say - trading a Gran Torino for a Star Destroyer is AWESOME!!

Yes there was a tiny plastic Blockade Runner that would fit in that notch within the hatch.

    I found this photo online.

Oh yes... can't photograph the original as it's stashed my my parents loft, but here's a pic of a repro one in the Destroyer model

...and for your Dad, a superior starship model from the same series

I always wanted the Y-Wing, I've just remembered that I have the X-wing as well. I'll have to dig all of these out of my loft.

I'm having similar thoughts... but I'd have to do an 80 mile round trip to my folks place first

@Lock_S_Foils and @Bloo Leeder are a bad influence!

    Edit:

@Viper78 - I just checked out the range of diecasts and found there was also a TIE Bomber which I'd never known existed... damn it I'd have LOVED that as a kid!

It would be worth it though!

I loved these die-cast ships, they were the perfect size for space battles with your friends. (x-wing)(tie)(falcon 2)(star destroyer)(a-wing)

I didn't know about the TIE Bomber either!

That's it, I'm going to check my loft soon to see exactly what I have. I'll post a photo once I get round to it.

Are you ever gonna open the Slave I model? I don't think I could hold myself back from busting that box open!
