havent read the interview but i think Ahsoka will be the first to be killed off. I think she would save the rebel alliance and die for it...

Judging by the shape of the foot, I'd say no. It looks like a two-toed alien with a heel-toe-thing. Lasats have four toes and no heels.
    Looks like it.

i know there are rumors/hopes of an obi-wan anthology film with darth maul as the villain.. it would seem odd for them to bring him back in rebels AND live action so does that mean he likely won't appear in a live action film?

Thanks for that - I had forgotten about the comic, and never read it.

You may get to see one or both of them go after Maul after all in Rebels, if his presence becomes known. However, I still think there is a chance he only shows up in Holocron form or something.

Minor details can be adjusted without breaking the continuity. Such as Ahsoka's facial and horn markings.

Except Ashoka's "Rebels" design looks more obvious...until we see his look from under his hold/it's confirmed from LFL, I'm not 111% sure as of yet, and I'm not denying for sure that it's him .

My theory is that they are not only protectors of the temple but protectors of the Jedi tradition just in case the order fell. My guess they had a contingency plan in place if the order fell. They went into hiding.

The helmet/armour was a Kylo concept not him being an alien. It's in the art of the force awakens book.

Which is fantastic btw and definitely worth buying.

The temple guards might be the most interesting reveal in the preview.Who exactly are they, and where is the temple? How did they survive order 66? The number of questions their very existance brings up is awesome. This next half of season 2 seems to have a lot of connections to the past so I have to wonder about a possible time travel story( it wouldn't be any more absurd than the Mortis arc from TCW)

I haven't gone through the entire thread. Did you notice the death star in the trailer? :)

    Capture d’écran 2016-01-17 à 03.50.57.png
The three small orbs we see have already popped up a few years ago

If it does end up being a death star, this would mean A LOT. We know the death star 1 was being constructed at the end of RotS. Did the empire begin building a second one BEFORE the battle of Yavin? Or could the death star we see in ANH be their second try?

I don't see the Death Star in that pic... I see the three small orbs, though. Are you saying those are the same orbs that are working on the DS in the second pic? If so, one would think the DS would be there, with them... Another possibility is that these three are Death Star prototype weapons/whatever it is that the Empire used to sterilize the surface of Geonosis.

You can also see Kanan knocked out on the ground behind the Inquisitor.

I'm pretty sure Filoni said that they used some discarded or unused concept art from The Force Awakens. The Fifth Brother is definitely inspired from TFA concept art so it would make sense that some other things could be as well.

Ahsoka's facial and horn markings are different due to her being older, and Rebels having a different art style than The Clone Wars. Eye color is not the sort of thing that would change between shows/movies; every pre-existing character that's shown up on Rebels has had the correct eye color.

Yes, I think the orbs are the same as from the second pic. Except that the DS from Rebels is at an EXTREMELY early stage of development (the components are in orbit of Genesis but still require assembly) and hence cannot be the first version we see at the end of RotS. Given the influence McQuarrie has had and most likely will continue to have on Rebels though, I really don't think this is a coincidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up as a huge tie-in with Rogue One.

My personal dream theory is that sometime hundreds or thousands of years ago, the Jedi sent out a small faction of their members into the galaxy to live a monastic type existence, in secret. This way, even if the main Jedi Order were ever wiped out or otherwise diminished, there would still be Jedi left that the Empire would have no knowledge of.
