Not a big selfie fan, but for some weird reason I took this. It was just after a fire front had come through, and though we managed to save my neighbours house, though their parents place next door burnt to the ground. Over 100 people died in that fire, but I only suspected that at the time pic was taken.

 

I hope you're okay ! What camera did you use? This is impressive...most impressive...I can't wait to share my Australia pictures .

 

Just a crappy 8M FinePix. So a really crappy, low end point and shoot.

That big fire happened a long time ago now, and I was one of the lucky ones that didn't lose a home or family. We have bushfires regulary, but that one, Black Saturday, was next level. We only had the Anniversary last week, which is why I was looking at the pics.

Aus is a pretty awesome place , which parts are you heading too? Looking forward seeing your snaps

 

I'm going to Sydney for the better part of a week, Melbourne, whatever Adelaide is, basically everywhere...my perks of having a black card from Amex booked everything and I pretty much follow the signs (literally). I'm just lucky with that. But my baby sister is moving into a dorm in Sydney which is why I am going but she doesn't want my help so I will probs just walk around Sydney chilling in bars and go to zoos and meet fun people and all . In taking my Nikon compact DSLR. I was supposed to also go to Fiji but...cyclones. Aus is partially a business trip for location scouting with my company but also for leisure as well .

 

Have been an amateur photographer since approx year 2000.

Did you see anything while you were in Sydney, or just take a tour. Its a beautiful building. Id love to see it in person.

 

I'm still here but my parents are making me go to these super boring tours that are a complete waste of time and money but these pictures are not from any tours .

 

Try and enjoy it. Learn something new.

Yeah, Sydney tours are kinda lame. I did the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb once, that was Ok, and the Opera House is quite impressive. Sydney is really only good for LGBT clubbing, the odd market and historical tour. I think the only tour I really liked was the early quarantine station, some of the conditions they endured and the stuff they did over 100 years ago was truly horifying. Had a pretty awesome Ghost tour there.

Although, as a Melbourneian, I should point out I'm required to think Sydney is a little lame and tries a bit too hard. Melbourne is much more laid back and fun

 

Considering I'm neither L, G, B, nor T, idk how is really enjoy it but gay bars in West Hollywood give me drinks that are cheap/free a lot which is why I go -_- thank god I have roughly an hour and 15 minutes left of this blasted tour .

 

Yeah, I'm not either, but who doesn't love a good drag show? I mean, we all here like another show where most of the main characters pretty much get around in dresses

 

they are pretty entertaining. lol
