    Photography used to be a big hobby for me, until about the time my daughter was born– (from about 2004-2012). My main focus was on ice photography, abandoned buildings, & conceptual stuff. Did (some) gallery and street-selling until it all stopped being fun. Fond memories.

    (Edit- I can't believe I initially forgot to add the only SW-based photo I'd taken...concept modelled from 'Jaina'...I suppose she could easily be a 'Rey', though there was no such character at the time the photo was taken.)

    I don't take as many pictures as I used to and unfortunately am going blind in my dominate eye, but I still enjoy taking pictures and this is one of my favorite ones I shot. Nothing like laying on the side of a US Highway in the middle of nowhere (Western Kansas) waiting for a runner to come along with Old Glory to catch some good pictures. Picture taken during one day of the 2015 Team RWB Old Glory Coast-to-Coast Relay

    Nice shot and some tidy post production.
    Sad to hear about the eye but good to know you're making the most of it.

    I just popped in to mention I called my local developer today to check if my latest B&W roll was ready and unfortunately not a single shot came out - gutted!
    I have no idea why - the shutter's fine so maybe something went wrong with the way it was loaded.
    There were some special shots on there but no big deal compared to degenerative eye conditions that's for sure.

    I came for a whinge but will leave with some much needed perspective thanks @Darth Mapanggulo!
