SHOULD DISNEY ERASE OT FROM CANON?

    Someone had posted a thread on whether or not the PT should be erased from canon. If that ever happens, then I believe that Disney should also erase the OT. The company has already erased all of the EU material and have begun re-writing - including the changing the number of Leia and Han's offspring from three to one. So . . . perhaps Disney should erase the OT as well . . . if they do erase the PT. As far as I'm concerned, neither trilogy is better or worse than the other.

    Nice bait, but relax, I don't think they'd ever erase the PT and they'd certainly never erase the OT. Without it there's no PT, ST, EU or Star Wars in general. And none of them can stand on their own without it. You may think neither trilogy is worse than the other but the prevailing opinion is against you, and its why most of the new films lean more on the OT than the PT. It's what the public wants.
