Should there be another generation of Skywalker?

Yes, there should always be a Skywalker presence/character in the GFFA.

 

I like the idea of the Skywalker-saga being a 9-part movie series. Even if the keep making movies for the rest of my life(they probably are). If the main Star Wars saga is episode I - IX, and Kylo dies in IX, I am fine with him being the last Skywalker. If they keep making episodic movies, I would prefer to have it be about the Skywalker-family.

 

I voted yes because I think it would be a waste if their line would end.

There is just too much folklore and mythology interwoven with the Skywalker line that it would be a shame if it all would end with Ben.
Killing off a whole Dynasty would be a disaster for the franchise.

It doesn't have to be about the Skywalkers all the time in Star Wars, but don't kill them off at least.

 

If I'm expected to accept Kylo Ren as the last of the Skywalker line, I would have preferred if this latest trilogy WAS NEVER ABOUT the Skywalker family. I don't like the idea of the family story ending on this note. You can tell me to accept it, but I won't. I just as soon pretend that this trilogy had never existed.

 

Well this was 1 of the main reasons i was hoping 4 Rey Skywalker. Espically after Carrie died. Now we're down 2 a single family member who is not the protagonist. I'm sorry but KR is now the "big bad". That's not a protagonist.

Even if JJ, says "no, guess what! She's Vader's Clone"! It just wouldn't feel rite.

If Kylo dies i DON'T WANT 10,11 & 12 even though i want him 2 die.

Pfft, so many emotions after i saw that train wreck of VIII.

 

Even tho it isn’t Rey, I still think it would be cool to discover another child of han and Leia.

That, or ben could have fathered a child before he turned....

 

Carries daughter Billie Lord is Lt. Connix. Put her in a cinnamon roll wig & she looks just like Leia.

 

I want more Skywalkers in the future and DO want the line to continue, but I don't want the next series arc to focus on them or have big connection to them. (Maybe mentions as legends or cameos). Perhaps they can be revived as a focus point in the future (or in comic series for the time being) but I'd like new sagas that use familiar SW elements such as The Force, Bounty Hunters, space travel etc. I think The Force is what's really at the heart of ALL of the SW universe and that is what is needed to tie it all together.

 

I find it funny yet silly that so many wanted a few Skywalkers yet a few, didn't want the best candidate 2 b a Skywalker. Rey.

The Skywalker line must survive, but they don't always have to be on the centre front as the main characters in Star Wars.
If there will be more SW movies in the future (and trust me there will be) I wouldn't mind seeing a new trilogy completely Skywalker-less.

But for the sake of Star Wars itself, the Skywalker line MUST survive.

 

Its all part of LFL's message. You don't have to come from a great family 2 b great. Just from a marketing decision, it's foolish to kill off the entire family but that's wut I'm afraid wil happen.

Things aren't looking well for the last Skywalker descendant.

Or there must be some secret Skywalker roaming around somewhere.

 

Maybe the Skywalkers have some cousins or something out there? Lol.

 

I'm afraid the hopes of the bloodline is Luke having a child out of wedlock, but i don't c it happening.

 

What is the point of this question, now that Rian Johnson have changed things with his handling of Rey's character?

 

I would really like 2 know how far ahead this trilogy was planed out. Like where ANY Skywalkers going 2 live by the end of 9 or was it shoot on the fly?

 

I counted three Skywalker family members in TLJ myself. Just saying everyone should just wait for IX and not worry about it so much.
