I mean, Anakin's vision of Padme's death was pretty spot on.
Personally I lean towards the vision being purely a result of the Force, but I kinda like the discussion surrounding this theory.

As to your question about Yoda... hmmm. He obviously would have known him as a Jedi, but I'm not sure how he would have found out that he was the Grand Inquisitor. If I had to guess I'd say that he may have just sensed him through the Force (yeah, yeah. I know it's a cop out...)

    Good point.

Mmm, yeah. Anakin's vision came across as a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy to me. Also, I wouldn't have put it past Sideous to plant those visions in his head anyway. Then Sideous just fulfills the vision he put in Anakin's head. It's a grey area for me, but ties into the idea of Sideous as the master manipulator.

A bit late, but I loved this episode. It was so rich in SW mythology, something that is not often seen on screen.

The lightsaber fight with the inquisitors was great: the way Kanan and Ezra work together, again Ezra's proficiency with animals, banter between Kanan and Seventh Sister (part of which is now my signature) - everything was great.

But, of course, Jedi Temple on Lothal was the meat of this episode. I liked that their visions were basically instigated by Yoda, that he influences the Force to react in a specific manner to each of them, from a different planet. Kanan learns the last lesson he needs to become a Jedi Knight, a lesson Anakin never learned - to let go. He had to accept that he cannot control Ezra's destiny and can only do his best to guide him. It was a poignant moment when he was knighted by Inquisitor who was another example of the fallen Jedi. Ezra must confront the temptation on his own and whether he overcomes it or not is his own path.

Yoda himself delivers similar message to Ezra: "How Jedi choose to win, the question is." He has clearly dismissed his warrior past and embraced the teachings of Qui-Gon and Priestesses from The Lest Missions. He basically admits the shortcomings of former Jedi Order - they acted out of fear and he urges Ezra not to fall into same trap.

Finally, we have Ahsoka. While Vader knew at once who she was, Ahsoka couldn't accept the truth which she is now forced to do. It was also clear that she holds herself partially responsible for what happened to Anakin, which she obviously was not. The blame is solely on Anakin's shoulders. The final moment with Yoda and his little wave was the most powerful. We have seen previously that she didn't consider herself a Jedi anymore. I saw this moment as Yoda's acknowledgment that, why she left the Order, she did not abandoned Jedi ways. Which is why her ending will be that much sadder.

They are insinuating Ezra's fall soooo much that now I don't think it will happen. He will certainly be tempted and dip into it, but many of our heroes did: Luke and, even, Kanan himself as we saw in the last comic. But, who knows? The title of the final few episodes and "apprentice" in it could be interpreted in many different ways. The apprentice could be Ahsoka, Ezra or even Maul. We will see in a month. But, fantastic episode.

These visions being "guided" [Rebels staff] by Yoda is confusing me. Other terms are floating around like "instigated" ↑ and "facilitated".

It makes more sense to me that either these temples are somehow "programmed" (for lack of a better term) to present a challenging vision to those FS people who enter or Force-feed of that expectation from the minds of those who do. The theory works for the experiences of the light and dark centered characters alike.

I can understand Yoda using these Temples as a conduit for clear communication but find it hard to believe he alone "guides" every vision. I doubt these character apparitions and their words - such as the inquisitor - are really-existing, accurate or canon.

Note: I'm also struggling to accept the gullibility of these Rebels and their susceptibility to tracking devices. This SW universe really likes to play up naivety of security culture. Does the Empire have a monopoly on scanning technology? I wouldn't be surprised if in TFA Chewie/Rey flew The Falcon straight back to the Resistance Base and Ach-too with a tracking beacon from Kylo on board.

So if Maul is at Malachor and Yoda sent the team there does that mean Yoda is sending them to Maul? Has Yoda been in contact with him? Is Maul going to teach them to hide there force presence? So many questions.

Only the episodes hold the answers, this speculation is great as is the series.

So many interesting things in this episode the last thing I noticed when Ezra comes in when Ashoka was watching the holocron I thought it was her holocron at first until Ezra says "I've watched these recordings to help me with own saber training" if that is Kanan's who knows what other goodies are on there. He might have lessons from other Jedi. We already know he has the message from Obi-wan and the star maps.

I thought this was super cool...I didn't catch this originally.

Apparently, the dojo that Kanan sees in his vision with the Inquisitor in the Lothal Jedi Temple was the one where Yoda is training him and his peers in Issue #7 of the Kanan Comic.

I agree I did not like Anakin design too, like why he has blue eyes?

I had the same feeling when that happened - her seeing Yoda and waving as a farewell.

I don't think Ahsoka will die this season. I'm sure though she'll fail in her confrontation with Vader and possibly go into hiding for some time.

Twilight of the Apprentice can have several meanings. I incline to think it's either because she's no longer the apprentice or because Maul dies.
