Sith in Ep VIII ?

I voted "Not sure." The question "are they even Sith" is a pretty important one, I think, since TFA will take place after Anakin fulfills the prophecy. It's hard to predict without knowing how they handle that, plus whatever happens to Kylo/Snoke and Rey/Finn/Luke.

 

The Sith will rise again only to be defeated by Rey.

 

I would just this once would like to see the sith win.

Now that I think about it, the Sith won every part of the PT, considering the Republic fell further and further under Sidious's control during each part.

 

I hope this sith learned from those trilogies.

 

The Sith will win in Ep. 8 after chopping Rey up. Rey will defeat the Sith once and for all in Episode 9 and her force enhanced cybenetic limbs will definitely help her PWN the Sith by herself.

 

Well you have given your opinion, the sith will not be made extinct after the ST they will temporarily be humbled there is no end as long as the darkside of the force exists.

 

With todays female lead rumor, it seems we may be getting another female lead. And she may be a Solo...and she may be evil.

How do you know Rey is not the lead female villain? She may be the daughter of Skywalker, and share more in common with Anakin than Luke. What if, once united with her long lost father, she had daddy issues, and goes all out domestic violence dark side on Luke the dead beat dad? ...or maybe thats just the cop in me talking and I've had way too long of a day?

 

The sith are gone now, but the idea of a strong female dark side force user would be great, it would mirror Rey perfectly.

 

The Sith shouldn't come back. It would undermine Anakin's redemption. Personally I think the only way it could work is if Snoke does turn out to be Plagueis, but I suspect that won't happen.

I would like to see a female Dark Side user in the Force in the films for once. Snoke was originally planned to be female, to me that suggests Snoke is not Plagueis. Perhaps there could be a female KOR, or Rey could turn to the Dark Side and replace Kylo as Snoke's apprentice.

 

Imagine if some or all of The Knights of Ren were women and Dark Side Force sensitives.

I'm not sure how that could or would work out in Episode VIII if all the Sith (except for perhaps a certain Plagueis who might have had "the ability to cheat death") were supposedly no more.

Well, even without the Sith, there can be Dark Side Force sensitives, and some of them could indeed be female.

The Sith Order (in canon) is (was) an "organization," a branch of Force users, like the Jedi Order, the Rogue Jedi (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Unidentified_rogue_Jedi), and even the Je'daii once said to precede them:

i voted "not sure?" because while i think a female dark side user could be pretty cool, i doubt the Sith will make a return.

Nice idea but Kylo Ren is not female. They aren't an all female cult like the Nightsisters.
