    Today, Disney released a quick little sneak peek into the new world that will be the Starspeeder 1000 attraction at Disney Parks showing a quite recognizable scene from the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens:

    Looks like they trashed about every capital ship from the OT. The original Star Tours featured space exploration, this one is quite different.

    Maybe they should rename it "Cemetery Tours"?

    Jack Skellington would probably love this.

    I'm still not getting the new Star Wars philosophy of Disney which supposedly was to show respect and admiration for the Original Trilogy - along these lines I would have anticipated the Battle of Jakku taking place in orbit or high altitude with the Star Tours ship zig-zagging between the intact capital ships, dodging their broadside exchanges and stuff like that.

    Instead they (literally) buried the ships and feature a scene that has no "Star Tours Exclusivity" because it's essentially and already featured in the film.
