Plagueis.

After rise , and fall, and rise, and fall, and debunk, and fall, and rise, and fall, and.....Pablo indeed confirms Plagueis had its interest in mendling into affairs of the Cosmic Force Itself in the creation and controling of Chosen One.

Wow.

The same strategy Snoke continues, from the birth influences and controls Ben Solo, Anakin's grandson, in his attempt to control the will of the Force (destiny).

We know however Force bypassed Plagueis preemptive action, sorry Snoke's, by Awakening and birth of Rey, and is about to strike back.

It is Plagueis own theory that Force can strike back.


In fact entire sequel trilogy is about Force awakening,..in order to strike back on Snoke, for his acquired immense power.

If Plagueis is not Snoke he is at least now acknowledged by the Pablo Hidalgo as the most powerful darksider (if not Force weilder in general) of all time, who, unfortunately, tragically died from the hand of his apprentice( after got-drunk).

I think Disney should brand and start to produce D.P. & W. beer, or shortly Plagueis beer.

................long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..................

Darth Bane was the last Sith who survived the onslaught by the victorious Jedi 1000 years ago.

He did it by escaping trough ancient portal on Jakku that he has found.

The portal was leading into the unknown and uncharted regions of the galaxy.

There ,on the planet Illum he met alien humanoid boy strong in the Force who was searching for kyber crystals.

Boy's name was Snoke.

Snoke was probably the last survivor of his ancient race, after one has been wiped out by mysterious Plague.

Darth Bane took him as his apprentice.​

Darh Bane and Snoke returned together in known regions as a master and apprentice.

Eventually, Snoke, who was in the meantime named Darth Plagueis, found secret of cheating death by the way of extracting Force from its enemy ,which aligned him with the Dark side and granted him prolonged life. He heard idea of his master to install Rule of 2 ,which he liked, and than he killed him, and took his Force to prolong his life.

Unknowingly to anyone Snoke acted Sith master for 1000 years, taking many apprentices , eventually killing them all at the end (after they became strong with the Force,worth of killing) one by one,drainig their Force untill killing them, which sustained his unnaturaly long life. He repeated to all his new apprentices same story that he became Sith master after killing his master ( genuinely true) ,and about rule of 2, but he was one and same Snoke,older and older, becaming hundreds of years old Darth Plegueis , becaming more and more Wise. Living by sucking Life Force from force users to prolong his life.
The stronger his apprentice was in the Force, more benefficial was to kill him at the end, granting him even greater alingment with the Darkness, and greater prolongation of his own life.

Snoke operated in both known regions and in unknown regions of the galaxy using portal on Jakku., In the unknown regions he was known as Supreme leader Snoke and many Alien races loved him, hold him as a spiritual leader and teacher and benefactor.

Over time his power and wisdom based on longevity and experience and accumulated knowledge as well as contribution of some of his doomed apprentices, became immense. Only thing he was afraid was, of losing that power.

After a 1000 years Snoke took for apprentice a perspective young human boy , Sheev Palpatine. It came that Palpatine was strongest Force weilder he ever trained thus far. Palpatine was cunning, and managed to preemptively almost kill Snoke before Snoke was able to replace Palpatine with his master creation, a Perfect apprentice, Anakin, by whoom he will be able to controll will of the Force and became immortal in true sense.
Damaged Snoke survived, retreated trough Jakku into Unknown regions and waited Palpatine's demise.

Palpatine however inherited Snoke's old droid 11-4D in which he found many data, inlcuding the location of the portal on Jakku, and was after Snoke, or better to say he keep watched Snoke never return, to the point of setting Jakku planet to explode.

Palpatine's death opened era of Snoke's return.

He was however left with problem of Skywalker line which was in the meantime joined with Han Solo's,blood , leading to inpreidictability. Snoke had only one obstacle left, the Skywalker/Solo bloodline, and thus they are the last enemies he must deal with, to reach his goal of absolute power and control over the reality itself.

He already subdued one treat, Ben Solo,but the others could rise, especially if the last Jedi will train others, some of Luke's pupils could be his undoing. Snoke knows ironic nature of the Universe.

Also, from that novel, this would've been my Plagueis/Snoke theory:

Plagueis recognised the potential power of young Anakin. I believe he definitely wanted this kid as his apprentice.

Considering the video, put yourself in Plagueis' position:

You've just witnessed the future of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. A being you personally brought into existence. You see how this boy will change the course of history. So, if you're Plagueis, how do you get this young boy to become your apprentice?

Well, step one is to kill Qui-Gon. But another step becomes a lot more difficult. Eventually, he would have to kill Sidious for Anakin to realise his destiny. But that would jeopardize the Sith Grand Plan. Sidious was needed to become Supreme Chancellor.

Unless...

Plagueis removed himself as Sith Master. Make his apprentice believe he was dead, then let Anakin become Sidious' apprentice instead. Plagueis would test his power of immortality (his ultimate goal), and then wait in the shadows whilst Sidious and Vader destroyed the Jedi.

His plan was to succeed without anyone in the galaxy knowing he existed, but, of course, Luke Skywalker ended that idea...

Ok I'll be honest, I like the idea of Snoke being responsible for the creating of the Skywalker line. It really puts some heavy GOT type drama to the story line. But if in doing so, we need to have another conversation about midi-chlorians, I am not sure I can handle that! - Lol

Tarkin is Canon and DP is not Anakin's creator there.

Also there are threads about Snoke being DP already we don't need a new one.

 

Pablo has said a lot that Plageious is dead. I do sometimes wonder if Pablo is pulling an Obi Wan he telling the truth from a certain point of view. Maybe Plageous is dead is true in the same way that Vader killed Annikan is true.

Perhaps Plageous was betrayed by Palpatine and went into hiding and has been biding his time in the shadows and once Palpatine died he found a way to take over the First Order. It's no longer canon but in legends, Plageous was not killed until right before Palpatine become the Chancellor of the Republic. So Plageous would have been very involved in the conception and implementation of the plan that leads to the Jedi being killed and Palpatine becoming Emporer. So then the first order would conceivably be the empire that Plageous originally envisioned before he got screwed over by Palpatine.

In the original script, it was Palpatine that created Anniken.

 

If Darth Plagueis is Snoke then the story group don't get credit.

I think it's only referred to that he MIGHT have created Anakin, sort of like trying to manipulate Anakin, and if Plagueis DID create anakin, then he might have known of Palpatine's imminent betrayal and even manipulated palpatine into thinking that he created anakin even though Plageuis is the one who made him .

From an early draft of the Revenge of The Sith script. Although it never says if he is lying just to minipulate Anikan or like you said or if Palpatine did it with Plageous or any other combimination.
