I dont follow the logic of this thread. Snoke clearly states tnat Kylo is ready to complete his training. Which means Kylo cant b the most powerful. Kylo is scared of Snoke, thinking Snoke might sense Kylos conflict with Kylos devotion to the dark side. Snoke wont die until 9 unless Snoke is an emissary for the true sith (Benicio de Torro?). Other than a real wizard behind the wizard, u cant kill off Snoke. If they do, theres someone else Palpatinig the strings.

I believe Snoke is powerful because of his knowledge. But what happens when you pass on all of your knowledge? That is the question that will need to be answered in Episode VIII. After Snoke passes all of his knowledge along to Kylo Ren, what does Snoke have left?

In my mind, Snoke will have nothing left to pass on to Kylo Ren by the time Episode VIII is over. Snoke will only be a nuisance to the power of Kylo and the Power of the First order. If you think about it, Snoke's ingenious plan to create the most powerful army in the galaxy was to build another Death Star with another flaw in its defenses. He clearly did not learn as much from Vader as he thinks he did (from TFA Novel).

Lastly, Snoke seems like he is vulnerable. We all know the most powerful Sith's ever have destroyed their master. Why would Kylo not do the same? Why wait and carry out the inevitable for a third movie? Also because Snoke is vulnerable, just get him to set you up with power and then kill him off. If Benico Del Toro were a different Darkside user, I could totally see this happening.

Makes sense. And we've never seen an actual Sith betrayal on screen. They always speak to it i.e.join me and we will rule the galaxy as father and som or Kylo's let me train you. It would be really cool to watch Kylo strike down Snoke when Kylo has become sith worthy.

Perhaps then maybe turn his cousin to the darkside as his apprentice? Then 9 is Luke battling his daughter and nephew as Luke tries to save them/turn them back. Luke sacrifices himself at the end like his father before him and the kids return to the light side. Time to party with ewoks.

So, are we to assume that other Dark Force Users are around in the Knights of Ren or is Kilo the last of the Knights of Ren?

We don't know enough about the Knights of Ren to assume anything. The most significant thing I notice when I see the Knights of Ren is that Kylo is the only one with a Lightsaber. I find that striking and significant.

I honestly think posters who are not fans of CGI who want to comment on the quality of CGI simply take the approach "the CGI was terrible" to make themselves look like they are some type of expert on the issue ... when in reality they are simply not fans of CGI and are going to say that with any CGI.

Would love to hear some people dissing the Snoke CGI to comment on why they thought it was not good. I thought he showed clear expressions when he was angry/annoyed, his face looked like humanoid-like to the point where many have said he could have been done with real prosthetics. Not that I am disagreeing with this, although the left side of his face was fairly covered in shadows as perhaps he is similar to Two Face in which he has a substantial gash into his cheek which makes it necessary. However, if people are saying he looked real enough that he could have been done with prosthetics, that should point to it being good quality CGI. A film with a mega budget like Star Wars is not going to invest in poor CGI. Rather, they are going to spare no expense.

Regardless, I think Snoke will be here to the end. I also see Kylo surviving to the end, as well, possibly joining Rey to turn on Snoke. Luke could very well die off in the next one leaving Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren to finish Snoke for good.

The entire scene with Snoke, it was so dark to see and it didnt come across very well either and perhaps it was the threatre i was in, but i had a hard time in that entire scene. As for the Knights of Ren, i agree we dont know much of anything other than what Snoke stated. Yes, it is interesting that the Knights of Ren, only Kilo has a saber and others dont. However, we know that the red crystals that are used are artificially created, perhaps they only had found one to create this saber for the strongest? Idk, we shall see.
