    No trailer attached to TLJ. No word from any execs. I think it's safe to say this isn't meeting that May release date at this point boys. Let's start placing bets on when we're getting the announcement it's getting pushed back to December. I'm putting my money on the second week of the new year.

    The fact that there are posters in theaters with the May release date leads me to believe that this isn't getting pushed back. I think that it's more likely that they'll drop a trailer after the initial buzz of TLJ wears off. My best guess as I discussed in the trailer thread is that you may be seeing something during the College Football championship game given that it's on ESPN and Disney has a track record of using major sporting events to drop trailers. They dropped the second Age of Ultron trailer during the 2015 national championship game and they showed the first Black Panther trailer during the NBA finals so it would make sense.

    All of this is just guessing but I'd be very surprised if they moved it at this point. Next December is already pretty crowded with Mortal Engines, Aquaman, the Bumblebee transformers spin-off movie, and Mary Poppins. I don't know that they would want to move it there and hope one of the other studios chickens out.

    They're not doing a celebration this year are they. I'm really sprised they haven't anounded the release date for Solo yet. Probably when TLJ is a month in cinema.

    Up to a few days ago, everyone believed that the movie stays in May as they announced. Then John Campea (formerly of Collider) said that someone from the business told him that they are thinking about pushing it, to where unknown. This is all second and third hand speculation and even he said that people should take it with a grain of salt.

    But, as of right now, May is the date.

    Hmmmm, and a Disney film. But Aquaman? I'm not into comics, DC or Marvel, but after seeing 'Black Panther' trailers constantly, there must also be an Aquaman of course.

    They might shift it to October, but now that you've showed me this, I think they'll stay in May.
