A. Does anyone know if this is an official LF poster?


If so, is that Cad Bane in the background near the bottom? Are we expecting to see the near complete BH ensemble including Bane and Fett?

Definitely Fake!! Lando is an eye sore and his head is rather big and out of place compare to his body, it's a bad Photoshop job acutally. Also that isn't Cad Bane. It's the same species as him but it's just a generic character from Battlefront. Unfortunately, this picture is 100% fake. The closest official images of this movie is the Russian calendar that was leaked.

 

Yep, forgot. No hat or facial apparatus - definitely not Bane. TY.

 

So now it is being stated that a trailer may be imminent.....maybe during Monday Night Football next week?

Fan posters always heavy on the photo shop.

 

Plus, it has all the wrong credits: it says JJ directed it, John Williams scored it, and that Peter Mayhew is one of the stars... Haha, wouldn't it be the ultimate shocker if all those things were true?

There is no more Monday Night Football for this season. They're in the playoffs, so we got the Divisional Round this Sunday, Conference Round next Sunday, Then Pro Bowl the Sunday after that then to finish the season off with the Super Bowl on Sunday Feb 4th. If they do drop a trailer during NFL game, it probably be during the AFC Conference game if it comes down to the Patriots and Steelers since that game will be huge draw and the last time they played, there was a huge controversy on how the game ended. I honestly don't think the'll drop it with the NFL games unless they do a Superbowl Ad. It would have to be a actual trailer, not a teaser reel or something.

 

D'oh!!! My bad!!!! Should've realized that, sorry. Anyway.....we need a teaser or trailer, I am actually getting pretty pumped for this movie.

Indeed. And, predictably, they quote Mike Zeroh as a source... well, even he must be right sometime (but DAMN will he be proud if he gets this right...). I am still of the conviction that anything MZ and his ilk posts should be summarily ignored; after all, attention is troll fodder.

 

The negative reports surrounding this film are overblown in my opinion. Donald Glover said a few days ago that he barely had any reshoots at all. And Phoebe Bridge Waller, who is playing an unknown cgi character, recently said she barely had any reshoots and the crew is proud of how the film is looking. She also spoke greatly about Ron Howard and how he's been such a positive force to get this film right.

Good to hear, I think. I'm happy that it potentially got a good reaction but "fan-service" puts me off a bit. Fan service can be good when used correctly but it can also lead to things like Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan or R2 and 3PO in Rogue One. So I hope this os the correct use of fan-service and not stupid and pointless callbacks that don't make sense.
